Lol, while there is many ways to skin a cat, (please dont skin cats, they are pretty sweet and that is cruel) that is a stupidly expensive way to do it.

My goals have always been to understand a subject, and how it works. Cannabis is the subject, and there is plenty of fucking information on botany. Growing cannabis, there is no special technique that hasn't already been discussed in either cannabis cultivation or commercial non cannabis farming that is "gonna make your buds more frosty". No, having a healthy plant, the damn genetics will do the work for you. Simply learn how to read your plants, understand the process of how a plant works, and learn the basic nutrient needs, and you too can grow amazing bud.

Now hand me over $45 so I can sell you this amazing 4 FL OZ bottle of mostly water but 0.3% of my special formula and you can get SUPER FROST!
hahahhaha give me the sugar drops homie!!! that sap is so killer full of something you can dab.

the OP has been shamed out of this forum LOL.

Well I hope they come back after doing some readings and research. It's always good to help new people at things, I simply find it annoying when people don't do the simplest readings to have an understanding of the basics.

I do think a lot of people with an interest in growing haven't really ever grown a plant. So marketing does its fine job of screwing up people's already sparse understanding of how to grow something (charts, feeding schedules, must have more products, the list of nonsense rolls on) . I fell victim to others nonsense simply because they were growers and really felt stupid because I thought cannabis was some special plant (it is but not growing it). Worse still, I've always grown up and had gardens. I should know that I don't need x, y, or z to do something that's already present or can be.

We admit our failings, learn from them and grow. The next step is to help others. If I'd listened to others, I'd have made less mistakes, saved a good amount of money and more importantly time

yeah but this dudes got the god complex, he believes he is the only one with the "secret sauce". The secret sauce is called genetics lmfao not nutes.

My old boss fell victim to this shit and I just shook my head at how much he spent on mediocre buds.

Well the grower I was buying off of prior to myself is a fantastic grower. He had high standards when it came to growing, drying, and (gasp!) Curing. The dude never sold anything that wasn't done right. In the rate event there was something off (my impatient ass was bugging him, or he was trying out a new technique/cut), he would tell you.

What I found unusual was that he was always thinking some other product would make things just a tad bit better. I guess if you grow for a living, that mind set could easily settle in. It isn't like he held any kind of job besides growing cannabis.

Im not gonna read all these posts, but here is a relatively close shopping list:

TGA Super Soil mix as directed takes 30 days to set
(Flowering lights)
3x high efficiency 600 watt HPS
2x Plasma lights (for UV A and B) $1100 per light

(Veg lights)
3x Plasma $1100 per light

Regular watering with premixed soil

Plants mainlined and defoliated.

and no i didnt grow the quantum i have my own grow i have just never seen anything like these buds.

and for the record, the sap like stuff is due to a nitrogen deficiency, so next time we are gonna increase the amount of super soil we mix.

The reason I am posting this and he is not is for anonymity purposes.

Eh nonsense as suspected.

A bunch of expensive lights to grow bud that looks as good or even less than what comes out of my garden or a bunch of other good growers on this board.

Defoliation? So I'm going to kill the very things that provide energy for my plants to put out more energy for bud production? Yes that makes a load of sense with those tiny buds...

and nutes matter quite a bit, read the ingredients on the super soil that is where all the credit is due. genetics are only half of it. yes the genetics give you the yield amount and potential potency but the plasma lights give the plant a giant tropical stalk which in turn gives bigger buds and the frostiness on the nuggets (from UV A and B). so there are several factors which go into growing killer nug, its really not 90% genetics unless you are growing completely organic with liquid nutes.

yea but do you pull 14.5 oz out of a 10 gallon bucket of Jack Skellington? we are expecting larger yields in the future... sorry if you guys cant afford a $10,000 system we do fine and make plenty of money. In fact our setup paid for itself in the first grow.

the dispensary reaches levels of 30% we find our levels in general are about 5% higher than listed by the breeders.

They do have Quantum Kush @ a dispensary I frequent listed as 30.8% thc.
Got 1 gram + it's strong but not much more than the strains that are ~25% range.
Goes to show numbers aren't all they are cracked up to be.

I will eventually get some of my keepers tested, but I can think if better ways to spend my money. Numbers don't matter if one is happy with the effect

I still don't see a data sheet of the results from the lab...38% is a suspicious claim
My dispensary had the results from their independent lab.

I've never tested a strain before I smoked it. I only test them after I know if they are worthy.

Everything in super soil is present in my grow using a $30 tub that has lasted me over a year and half. Add some calcium to my happy frog perlite so longer flowering strains don't deplete what's already there and each plant start to finish costs just about $15-24 including electricity and all materials.

The nonesense ceases to die here lolol. I love the shopping list you made for us it sounds like your a weednerd LAWLS.

I always cringe when I hear "weed nerd". Most of the time, these people know less information than can be gleamed from a national geographic show, yet can ramble on about a bunch of shit in soil that they think is the one way to grow.

So Mr pags I strongly suggest you do read some of these posts. You talk big, but then make clearly inaccurate claims. You obviously have no idea what your talking about. I'm glad you've got a buddy that grows with a $10k system that's great. That doesn't change your lack off knowledge. How much your lights cost( since thats the only thing you posted a price on) doesn't make your weed grow better. With that logic my 1k hps I got for a 1/4 oz of my first harvest must grow shitty buds.

Do some actual research. It's not "sap like stuff" it is plant sap plain and simple. Have you vaped any yet? If you did you should be able to tell that is is mostly sugar and burns and smells just like sugar.

I also will argue that it has nothing to do with nitrogen, but rather pressures inside the plant. Here is a few links that show exactly how ignorant you are.

"Guttation is what its called after alot of websearching :)." At night, transpiration usually does not occur because most plants have their stomata closed. When there is a high soil moisture level, water will enter plant roots, because thewater potential of the roots is lower than in the soil solution. The water will accumulate in the plant, creating a slight root pressure. The root pressure forces some water to exude through special leaf tip or edge structures, hydathodes or water glands, forming drops. Root pressure provides the impetus for this flow, rather than transpirational pull.""
