Looking unreal Or_Grow. Can't wait to set my 3x3x7 up with some qb96's. Think I am going to go with 4 of them all on separate 240w drivers. Just got back from a holiday cruise and went to buy them and they are out of stock lol. Oh well, they said they will be back in stock in 2 weeks, so I will just have to wait.

Beautiful plants! So I never got the chance to ask before you left GC. How did you like the Peaks Pure pressure Rosin press?

I love it, total control over time, temp, pressure...with big enuff and well dimensioned plates to press quantity of: bud, kief, bubble.

Today i started flushing the mothers of the plants above, i will do a drying test of my std grocery bag method vs freeze drying, then if i’m motivated enuff, i’ll make bubble and squish that. Lookin forward to some nearly-live rosin....

Live Rosin would be fun. Removing the drying/curing step never hurt anyone's feelings either.

So I finally picked up 4 of the 96s now that they are back in stock. I like the idea of using a 240H per light because of the flexibility. I belive I have a solid grasp of the differences between the A and B type drivers, I just want to make sure I make the right choice. Is there any downside to the HLG-240H-AB over the A series? I like the idea of having the ability of PWM control or remote potentiometer dimming, I just don't want to regret the purchase if I'm missing something...

B series will be much better if you like to dim, I didn't know they did an AB in a 240
Thanks for the help. I know that Meanwell has a data sheet for the 240AB series. I could only find 1 place that seemed to actually carry it, or at least they have it for order(TRC Electronics Inc.) I placed an order for 2 so I suppose we will see.

Just to be complete...

Here are the forgotten culled sister clones of smackdown girls...flushing now, harvest later this week....

two 2-main plants per 4-gal bucket...went 12:12 at 6” w 3 nodes/main...only under 96s, no supplemental reds or uv...

My fingers get sticky just looking at them...

Continuing to see much better buddage size and development speed 96 vs 288...could be that 96s will finish faster at similar yield...will get a better feel for this at end of first pistil flush....

Can’t help think that the extra blues in the 96 spectrum are playing a role here...

Do u know if the 96s use 3500k or 4000k for the the whites? About how many watts of far red per sq/ft on the 96 side are you using? Great show, thanks for posting!

The colortemp of the 96 is around 3500K, varies a little depending on wattage.

In combo with far red lowers it a little, as shown in the first spectrum pic above, where colortemp (tcp) is 3464K.

For far red i’m using https://www.htgsupply.com/product/growbright-far-red-led-light-bar/

I believe it draws 42w as configured, so a little over 2.5w/sq ft in a 4x4.....

I believe you turned on the far reds after stretch, are you going to keep them on during the day as well as eod treatment for the rest of grow?

Waited till pistil balls formed on tops, “end of stretch”, turned it on for full lights on; waited a few days to make sure no excessive stretch, then added the first 15 mins of ligjtsoff, keeping 12h ligjtson/12h lightsoff. Will continue both thru harvest.
