Pyrethrum bomb question

I've got a Spider Mite problem that I've been attacking for a couple weeks now. I got a couple pyrethrum bombs from the hydro shop and the dude told me to be sure that all of my fans are off in my room. My question is, shouldn't I leave my A/C unit turned on? It was 107 degrees outside today, 102 the day before and it's looking like it will be over 100 all week. My grow room is outside and it's got a tin roof, so it gets 100 degrees or more inside the room when it's only 90 or so outside. That's too damn hot for my plants. Should I leave my A/C turned on? It's a window type of A/C so it shouldn't be venting any air to the outside.

Dude. use the bomb when the lights are off if heat is an issue... there, now you dont need to run an AC :)

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, I was thinking I should bomb with the lights off, but it still gets damn hot in the room. I guess I could set the bomb off and then look outside to see if the A/C is spitting out all the bug killin' poison... I've got a remote for my A/C so I wouldn't have to go back into the room to turn it off.

can you shut it all down for 20 or 30 mins while the lights are off? after 30 mins most of the bombs fog has settled.

I now use two things for bug contol. garlic cloves and 50/50 mix of alcahol. if you use the mix and spray your plants. it will get rid of the mites and not harm your plants. if you have soil stick a peeled clove pointy end out of the soil 1/4 inch that will keep most all bugs away. this just the stuff I've been doing and it seems to be working good. Sorry not a clue on the bomb.

Oh yeah! My lights shut off at 5AM and that's when I was going to bomb, so it wouldn't be too hot. I could totally leave it off for 30 minutes or even an hour and then turn it back on.

Thanks for the info Stumps! I'll give the 50/50 mix a shot too just in case the bomb doesn't do it's job.
