He is remarking bc its a cfl. We all know fdd loves cfls. Just trying to lite lower canpoy a bit more. They were not flowered from seed. The 2 taller vegged @ 4 weeks the smaller only 2 weeks(for certain reasons). I only had 2 cfls 26 watt to vegg each plant that is another reason they are small. This was a first attempt hope to only get better. Thanks again for replys.

by the way, looks like your going to have some good buds there, keep it up.

the 600 watt and the 1000 watt are both 18" above the canopy with open end bat-wing reflectors, I veg them for 4 weeks before they rotate into the bloom room, and they get topped once...I get roughly 2-2.75 (dry weight) ounces per plant in one gallon pots.....I'll keep it up...it's my life :mrgreen:

...but seriously you would need a couple more of those tings to read the label on a bottle and it's to dangerous...you might burn yourself on one...LOL

here is a pic from my first day with 400w HPS lights.....the next pic is from today 1.5 weeks later.

Do you think i will EVER go back to CFL after this change in one and a half weeks?
This thing has damn near doubled.....ohhhh and the smell....love it.
First hydro grow, Bubble/Drip system, All home made from the great info i learned here.

P.S. these things are growing up to 1 inch a day with hydro......BEAT THAT SOIL!

I grew both hydoponic marijuana and soil side by side, and the hydro was growing at aproxmatly 1.2 inches a day, while soil was growing at about 1.7 inches a day. did the same test with tomatoes, and the hydro tomatoes was growing 2.3 inches a day, while the soil was .8 inches a day... weird... and I read that tomatoes and marijuana are sopost to like the same things, and respond similarly

Mine are growing 1 1/2 to 2" a day right now in dirty old soil :blsmoke:
