Looks great bro. She is nice and green all over. Wish the stem would come back green though. Might be genetics of the plant though. I haven't gotten around to taking pics yet I should when the lights come on tonight though.

:leaf:Peace:leaf:
Thanks killa, yea I believe its genetics too. I seen a few of his clones and they all have purple stems..maybe some strain is just like that..it is purple urkul :bigjoint: im kidding im sure its some kind of def. but still like you said, its green all over.

I wonder when I take it into flowering, the stems will come out green in some area's for a clone (if its some def.). Who knows, baby girl is growin though. I definately want to see some pics when you get the chance to post them. I BEEN subscribed ;p

Hey Int'. How 'woody' is that stem on your plant?
Other than the fact it's red/purple, It looks like it's years old.

New cab is coming along nicely.

Edit: That LSTing your doing is going to be really beneficial. Those canopy pics look excellent, shit load of bud sites mate.
Really cant wait till you hit here with some 12/12 action. (just kidding)

Im not to worried about the red/purple thing. Ill get some seeds for fall since summer is going to be a tough time to do much with the heat around here. The cabby is gettin painted and almost done, already did some cuttings...hopefully ill get it sealed up real tight and face it away from any cracks in the closet.

Yea man the lst is workin great like you mentioned to do, thanks alot. Ive done so much more and all I can see if the insides opening up more and just looking great. Im going to flower on 4-20 after it gets its ph'd water. Hopefully she will do something. Just 10 more days!!!

I was thinking about mounting lights all around the sides of the cubbies box instead of hanging it, what do you think?? I was thinking of attaching those small boards from my old cabinet, cutting them down to size first and screw them onto the sides of the cabby...then mount some lights using the twin sockets. Think it might work out well.

From the look of the downward view of the canopy, I would only put lights to the side once there was sufficient lighting pointing down. That's where the bud sites are and they want to grow up. :peace:

Alrite I had alot of lights above it before about 7 of the 42watt cfl. After a little while I started doing some lighting on the side kind of like what ur saying, but started it about 2-3 weeks into veg. Im going to snap a pic of the canopy below because shes getting wide and Ive been using lst all over her..taking up space but looking so green. The insides are getting fluffy and below is getting big. I dont want to do any prunning until I got into flowering so I could possibly get a clone :joint:.

Alrite heres a pic from below. Ive actually been wondering if my LST is good? Im also wondering whats gonna happen after you cut the cords (lol) on her lst. They should grow without a problem right? Thats what im assuming

Alrite well I stuck my finger down there to check out the dryness and of course its still a little moist down there, think ill wait until sunday. I finally did a pH check on the soil about 3-5'' below surface and it came out neutral (7.0). If anything..its a little below it.

okay im in another thread talking about my current situation im bout to freak out on:

Heres my problem. Over the past few days I havent seen her reach for the light (cfls) like she normally does..sometimes I would have to go in there and kind of fan her out with my hands and now i dont have to. Now that shes not responding...the lower part of my canopy is starting to fade yellow (smaller leaves) and brown edges / drying up. All the bigger/new leaves are fine and green. Is this normal? Should she always be responding to the light?? I mean ive used lst on her again and the stem came back up as if it was responding to it. Weird.

The leaves are kind of droopy but NO way its an over water droop. Ill take a pic. I water that 12'' pot (width) every week. And I barely give it water. Maybe its just thirsty.

checked on it this morning and the yellowing is not getting better. The bottom is starting to brown a bit and dry up really fast. I wonder if I veg'd it to long?? Maybe shes thirsty. Im sure its not nute burn I feed it 5-2-5 every other watering, but it wasnt quite diluted as I wanted it to be. Either way it doesnt look like a burn. The yellowing started few days ago and is working its way up. Any help would be appreciated!!!!! You can look at my journal and kind of picture just the bottom yellow..working its way up

A plant that old, in that size pot, probably needs watering more often than once a week.
You must adjust and increase your watering schedule as the plant grows.
I would say it's drooping from thirst or your just looking at it before it's about to go to sleep. Many plants will begin to rest their foliage before sunset.
I suggest watering the plant and if it's thirtsy it will pick up within an hour or so.
When you water make sure you get some run-off every time.

The good thing for you Int' is that plants grown indoors won't die of old age.
You can veg them forever, that how we keep mother plants alive.
So even though this plant is at least 3 months old, it won't die of old age, and you can veg it for as long as you want, or until it out grows that pot.

In saying that, I reckon I will have got 2 entire crops done by the time you finish this plant.

Yellowing from the bottom up is classic N deficiency. The nutes your using aren't very strong and I would almost be nuting it every watering.
Increase your watering and nutes.

+ rep cos youre a gangster and I was thinking the same thing about watering. A buddy told me that a week is a little to long. Since the nutes are not as strong like 20-20-20 or whatever, ill try to just use nutes every watering. So then I wont have to worry about over watering when adding nute water - while waiting for the ph'd water to dry up in the soil. Think i will be going with just nutes every watering. Asked for 1/2 ounce in a gallon, went ahead and reduced it to 1/2 tablespoon (1tbl spoon = 1/2 ounce). Thanks mammath kiss-ass

Man your only watering once a week. Ok how big is your pot no guesses or estimates really how big is it. Easy water test. Wait till its completely dry pick the pot up. REMEMBER how light the pot is very important. Then water..... pick the pot up and feel the difference. Go by this I promise it will help. Water when the pot feels light. Some strains DO NOT LIKE TO GO DRY. Another way of testing is sticking your whole index finger in the soil and to see how moist it is. If it is still moist at the end of your finger tip hold off for another day maybe two but no longer.

Man its funny you mentioned that because with the smaller pots I was using that method. Now I got this 3gal pot but now im going to apply the same idea. What I usually do is check to see if its dry all the way down with my finger to my first knuckle. Hopefully tonights watering + good run off will make her perk back up.

Int' other than the many methods of knowing when to water, you are beginning to understand that when your plant is happy, it will look like it!...and visa-versa. Good for you!

This is very important when growing, and will only develop through experience.
Lots of growing...
Your learning how to 'read' your plants, very important aspect of a successful grower.

Although it's only a weed, there is much to understand. You'li get there ;-)

PS. Will you flower this grow in my life time? lol.
