SOIL: TLC soil peat moss and perlite, good draining.

NUTES: BMO 5-2-5 / BMO 1-8-7 (Grow it green / Flower power)

WATER: Aquafina

AREA: 3x3x6

CFL LIGHT: 3x26watt 5500k and 6-42watt 2700 mixing for vegging. Going with these 62 watts 2700k i saw that put out 300 @ homedepot. Definately help for flowering.

TEMPS: 72-85F & 30-55 humiditiy

Earlier when I first had it, it had less leaves but just kinda started feeding her water.

Another shot

Next one..gettin little better

BMO is the greatest stuff but they, depending on strain of plant, can be short on nitrogen. Having a red stem like that is a pretty good sign your not getting enough nitrogen. could include P-and K as well. but lets stick with nitrogen. What i would do is mix 1 tblspoon hydrated lime to a quart of PH balanced luke water, and soak the soil as well as leaves with this every watering.. this will also be good in calcium and magnesium. The standard is 1 ounce dolomite fine powder to one gallon of water, so play around with the numbers but be careful u dont burn it. Flush if neccasary with twice the amount of water your container will hold. You may just have a sick plant on your hands. good luck. Bone Meal (wal-mart) is also good at raising PH! its just slow release. Typically you want a vegetating plant to have a 20/20/20/ blend. More importantly is the 1st number... Nitrogen. But there are ways to supplement and quickly.. Best wishes

Thats weird all i read is great stuff about BMO 5-2-5 and there foliar spray. That stem has always been like that since the first day I got it..been trying to get it back to green but all the progress i can see is at the bottom of the stem. All she does is produce new green leaves and getting fluffy (Im telling you, when I first got it...it looked like it went through hell and back). I would of gone with some other types that most of you guys us (FF etc) but this is my first and BMO is what I could get my hands on. As far as hydrated lime..that raises PH. I need to check the PH again but it was pretty much at neutral..especially with aquafina water..but havent ph'd after nutes (Yes im a dummy). Dolomite/hydrated lime could raise your ph if you fuck around. Think ill look into it more...thanks for the advice though. As far as Mg I THINK I got it down...the epsom salt foliar spray seemed to help...and my garden safe pest control for fuckers :cuss:

Edit: Sorry hydrated lime or dolomite raises/acts like a buffer. forget which one. But id hate to raise my ph when its right at neutral.

why are you using aquafina??? your plant looks like it's got some issues. i see tip/nute burn. that plant looks like it's kind of big/rangy, for cfl's. tin foil??? tell you what i'd do. cut all the growth tips off as clones and root them and start over.

Why wouldnt I use purified non-chlorine water? yes its expensive but ive tested my city water after 24 hours -sucked- I tested OTHER waters -sucked-. The best pH i got was out of this. Its been treating me very well.

If ur using cfls, and not burning ur plants..then idk wtf ur doing. Those things HAVE to be at least 1-2 inches (I do 1 just because of low light penetration. Yes some have burns. The ones ur looking at are either older leaves from the beg. that I didnt want to take off (I let them fall off sometimes, I dont always force it). Its big and randy well because I got it 9 1/2'' LOL. It was a clone, sorry I didnt mention that.

Tin foil is flipped around, dull side. Whatever works. Dont have time to paint it and let the paint smell dry up and linger out.

That plant isnt ready for a clone (To me at least), ill wait till it flowers and HOPEFULLY triples. I wish I had a pic before to show you how much it has grown. Everything is green. All I did was pay attention to the pro's ^^. The plant is big/randy (not sure what rangy means, maybe skinny is what u mean) because I started using LST and made it stop growing, now the insides are comin out beautifuly..ive made lots of room.

She is looking alot better bro I'm subscribed.
Thanks killa. I opened her up alot I really want to show you.

i'm not positive, but i beoieve there are some additives in a.f. an emergency blanket is much better than tin foil. that can be cloned last week. actually, it looks pretty good. i've cloned p.u. before and it did very well.

I heard the same on the blankets. I also heard that white paint is the MOST reflective (which is weird but whatever, ive used it b4 and worked great but had to trash the box). Can you get those blankets at Sporting Goods? I didnt clone this at all and hopefully ill be able too during flowering. Im going to veg for another 3 weeks or so. Thanks Silky :leaf:

wal-mart sporting goods have those blankets for a couple bucks.
Lazy bastard I asked one of the employee's there and of course he said they dont have it. I searched up and down every ile. Maybe this season around they will (I was checking towards fall).

Alrite I havent been able to take a pic but she is looking really green. I backed up the lights a few days ago because I felt like there was to much heat around the top. Now the tops feel really nice..exactly what I was expecting.

Bad News: Dont think ill be able to finish the box since im gonna start flower on 420 :hump:, been to busy with school/work....but I went down to the shed which I havent been in a while and found a plastic cabby thats about 6ft tall and 2 1/2' wide and barely 2' deep which kinda sucks (as far as room) but its just for 1 plant...doubt I could fit another + lights are gonna be mounted to all the sides. Ill post pics soon.

Got the cubby painted, was up very late last night with the big mounting lights on in the back going at it. I havent lived to long on this land and it is a little weird hearin all the noises through the grass and shit. Ive heard fox's run through in between the trees but shit out here was alot louder then that. >_>. Anyways, bout to get lights mounted. Post a pic soon

Looks great bro. She is nice and green all over. Wish the stem would come back green though. Might be genetics of the plant though. I haven't gotten around to taking pics yet I should when the lights come on tonight though.
