purple trichomes

okay so i was checking my trichomes to see if they are ready for harvest and i notice alot of them are purple... does this have the same indication that amber trichs have? does it mean any thing at all even? im thinking they are just purple because the buds are mostly purple. what do yall think? i dont have a good enough camera to take trich pics. my avatar is as close as i could get
 
I am not sure, but that is some damn good looking dank.

Good job. You say it is a purp strain? What temperature did you keep your while in flower? Where the stems of the sun leaves or branches purple? Maybe a cal-mag solution could help? I dont know, but I will check in here and there so see what everyone says.
 
Are they coming out that way (ie. as the sugar leaf unfurls, it already has purple trichs?)? Or did they go from clear to cloudy to purple? If the latter, then I'd say it indicates your harvest is near. How long has it been in flower?

thanks for the compliments, it is not a purp strain, it is WW from nirvana, the stem is not purple but the stems of the fan leaves are purple. ive heard ppl say nirvana uses a purple skunk in most of their strains so it is possible that it is a purple phenotype, however, i do believe it is purple due to temps getting as low as 55 degrees during night hours.
 
i would guess that if your buds are purple and the trichs are clear then they would appear to be purple because of the color behind them

i think they turned that way however i cannot be sure i did not watch my trich progression thru flowering lol. its been flowering 8 weeks friday nirvana says 9-11 weeks
