Im curious too because mine looks like that.
Ive looked around and it could be phosphorous deficiency,
but i think its just the genetics because its doing no harm to my plants, and your plants seem to be healthy also
I've been told its cold weather but I've also been told its the strain genetics. Either way I live in an area where its gets a bit colder these days towards harvest and mine have always turned a bit purple. They have always been good to go. So ya no worries man.
good to know. I tried moving them in at night when the temperature would drop and it didnt seem to have an effect so I wasn't sure WHAT was causing it...
phosphorus deficiency will cause the stems to turn purple, not the leaves until later and major deficiency.
but xxJDxx your plants look indoor, or did you just take em in for pics lol. how cold could your grow room be getting?
i had a roadrunner auto that had purple leaves and some purple bud on it...there is no purp genetics in this strain at all...im growing indoors in a grow box...the lowest the temps get is 76-78f and the highest being 85-86f...so with no purp genes in it..and the temps staying pretty warm...mine turned purple....so it must be something other then just cold weather and genetics causing this
