Alright so here's some flux of the girls before harvest. Gonna harvest on of my plants tomorrow, then the others as they fully mature. Getting super pumped, the aroma from these is fucking delicious. Got that super sweet purps smell. Next few days should be filled the harvesting and cultivating these buds to look tip top. I plan on trimming them up before drying them out, anyone opposed to this and why? Hope you all enjoy the pics...
Oh and our newest edition, Bailey...our 4 month old female blue nose pit!

I'm curious if your lady(the plant haha) ever went a little purple for you?

I haven't got it exactly figured but what I've read is it depends on temp mostly...but IDK for sure. But I'm glad to see yet another successful plant finish out nicely, and oh-so-frosty.

I can't wait for the smoke report, if you post 1 lol

Yea, it depends on temperature. In a natural habitat, the season to harvest is typically fall, when the temps are cooling down. Grows the same way indoors. My box is set up directly next to my window. The cooler weather we've been having lately has started the process. They aren't solid dark purple, but have very strong hints of it, and all foliage on the bud sites are dark purple underneath. Sometimes if you don't have ideal temps, it helps to turn your lights off completely for 24 hours, which will trigger the plant to start the process.
Definitely gonna have a full harvest and cure guide as well as smoke log as the time progresses.

The time has come! Harvested my first of four girls this morning. She was the smallest and the only one I topped but she is definitely the sexiest. Manicured them and attached them to a clothes hanger via grocery ties. Hung them about 7 ft up in my garage near my furnace and covered the windows for minimum light exposure. They are looking tastey as fuck and they smell amazing. Any tips or tricks for drying/curing would be greatly appreciated! Enjoy the pics!

Dam that some sexy bud porn!

Personally I dry mine for anywhere from 2-4 days, however long it takes for the outside of the buds to be crispy to a slight squeeze. Then I jar it up for a day or 2, then checking how moist it rehydrated itself with its inner moisture still retained. If its too moist just "burp" the jar, by leaving the lid off the jar for a couple hours and close it back up for another day or so and recheck. If its still too moist for your liking just repeat till you get the desired level of moisture you like and jar it up and store it somewhere cool and dark for as long as you can resist smoking it, because just like wine it gets better with time

Though sometimes I'll just leave it out for 5 days and go straight to the jar and store it away. Right now I've got my Short Rider sitting in my sock drawer for this month while I clear my system out because I need to get find a job. But I know when this month is over I'll have some tasty buds waiting for me.

My temps don't ever reach over 70 degrees as my garage stays really cool. I do it so it doesn't cure too slow, my temps are typically 65-70 tops and my humidity between 40-50%. From what I understand, that's pretty ideal drying temp/humidity...what do you think SF?

Sounds good to me. Do you have a small fan to circulate air in the room? Ever since I found these little 4" fans at walmart and added it to every drying/curing I've done has helped http://www.walmart.com/ip/BOSTON-4-inch-Two-Speed-Personal-Desk-Fan-Plastic-White/19627692

Yea, but at the time, I still had a couple plants running in my scene so had to make due with my closet. Worked out ok, but my next run will be much better in the curing process.
As I stated before Im doing another run right now that Im not 100% on. My bro gave me two mature clones and a mother plant that had been skirted and topped left and right. I took the old lady and did some major LST work on her so each individual bushel would act as its own plant. So far things have actually been doing pretty good except for the mothers leaves are a few shades less green then the younger clones. I also got my ph meter running and realized that the whole last grow was done with water with a ph around 5.5. So Ive boosted my water back up to 6.8, and am excited to see how this affects my plants. I also bought some PK nutes, as well as put in another axial fan on the otherside of my box for better climate control. My temps were usually around 80-80+, but with the addition of the fan, they usually stick around 77 now which is perfect. Will include some pics in a few days and show ya'll what I got going on. STAY HIGH!
