Pruning during Flowering Question

Hi, I'm around 3 weeks into flowering stage, buds are coming in nice as well as dark green leafs growing at the base of the bud. the original leafs on the stems looks a little yellow I was wondering if I should cut all the older leafs off and if that will make the plant concentrate more on the buds. Or leave them as is just cutting off the really dead ones.

Yeah, no doubt. Your plant is focusing all of its energy into it's buds, so nipping off those yellow, dried out fan leaves is not a problem and will not harm your plant. Looks good too.........

Three weeks into flowering is a good tome to trim the bottom 1/3 of your plant. VV
^^Yup...VV is right, and for the same reason you said malester, to concentrate more on the buds, and the upper 2/3 of your plant..

but after week 4 - 5 you might not wanna prune as much..may one or two here and there to shine more light or if one leaf looks a little bad, but dont go over board. and remember to cut back the ferts when U prune also, each leaf is like a plants stomach, and if you cut back on one of those stomach's then you need to cut back the food or bad things may happen...
dont mean to scare ya, just tryina toss in my 2cents
:peace:

TY for the replies, i trimmed them all up, definitely not as bushy, but looks more healthy.
How much do you think I should cut down on the neuts? I'm only using Superthrive and using the recommended amount, 1/2 TSP for 2 gallons. should I leave as is or cut back a little bit?
