OK, so I took a few photos a bit ago, loaded them onto my computer, and can't get any further than that. Tried to resize them in Gimp (my computer is now running Ubuntu), but it didn't do it... I mean, it said "Undo Resize" in the command history, but when I saved the file it was still huge. So I went to upload them to my RIU album, as the upload page says it'll resize your images if they're too large, but I keep getting an error page saying, "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing."

Can't use WinBlow$ as it's too vulnerable. Can't do image editing in Ubuntu because I don't know the freaking Linux programs well enough yet.

I'm so very tired of troubleshooting computers for weeks on end. At least I have a browser now, but that seems to be it. I give up. :wall:
waiting on those pics kat, what's up! hey i'm cutting down my four NL's. i'll try to get some pics to you so you might be able to tell which pheno you have, the indica :(, or the sativa  pheno. don't foget at the end i'm going to do a HID FYI, so stay tuned.

Uh... I don't know enough about cfm, nor HPS, to give advice to anyone. Sorry, but you're better off without my input! And you're not bugging!!! ;)

Still no success RE: photos. :cuss: I'm looking into image editors that are compatible with Ubuntu, so that I can resize.
You guys are gonna start wondering if I've got a "phantom" grow going!

I put my third (and to date final) NL in the flowering tent last night. (Still have 7 more seeds; just haven't planted more yet.) I have a feeling this one is also a male, but no definite pre-flowers yet. It's just that "feeling" I had with the first one, though it could have been intuition from some sign I haven't consciously seen yet. So we'll just have to wait and see. They've been getting tall more easily/quickly than my BH, so I'm guessing at this point that they're the sativa pheno. Just a bit stretchy for indicas, IMO.

If this NL is a male, then I'll put my WW (fem) in the tent... I really want to have a rotation started before it's time for first harvest.

Oh, and... this year's FLU SUCKS!!!

hey Kat, without the pics, your're starting to look like chitown:lol:heheheh:mrgreen:

and yes, this year's flu sucks!!!:cuss:
Hmmm... I don't look like a baby with a bandanna on its head and joint in its mouth yet, so I must be OK.

Have you wanted to die, too? UGH! I didn't want to kill myself, but I'd have happily welcomed death over what I was going through this weekend!

Take care of you, and count your spoons! ;)

Gotta "love" this time of year, eh? If I didn't have so much love in my life, I wouldn't care much about it. :hump:

hey kat what up! hope all is well. i cut my four NL's the other day, gonna cut four of the five BV's staurday. man i can't wait till they are dry. now i didn't want to put up any pics until everything was done, but as promised i got something to show ya. the pics are not that good, but i think you'll be able to see the differences in the phenos. like i said before though the indica i let go for 9 weeks, and "I" really didn't like it, it was ok. now the sativa at 9 weeks was good, got me high, but the samples i took off at 8 weeks was way better in my opinion. so this time all of them got the ax at 8 weeks. i hope tha indica is better at 8 weeks, because if not we are going to have to stop production on that one. and on top of that the sativa pheno produces more compact buds, and also it produces way, way more trichs,....way more. and most important to me, besides potency, is that the flower to leaf ratio is great. so that makes it very easy to trim. not as easy as the Blue Venom, but pretty easy. but check it out these are only cola shots. the first is the sativa, the second is the indica, and the last is both of them trimmed up real nice, indica on the left(short and stout), sativa on the right(long and compact). well i hope you like, and i hope it can help a little if you need to figure out which one you have, hopefully you have both. that way you can decide wich one you like.

sidenote: hey kat seeing that one of your issues is with your hands, you might want to find something with a very high flower ratio.

Thanks for these, Zen! I think I'll save them for future reference... once I finally get a female NL going, that is! Yes, a very good flower to leaf ratio would indeed be best for me when it comes to trimming, etc.; for my hands as well as for back pain, etc., as projects like trimming/manicuring wears on that as well. I do remember that the descriptions of some of the strains I got said they've got a good ratio, but I don't remember which ones now. I've gotta go reread so I can best decide which seeds to germinate next, when that time comes.

I finally found an image editor that saves the photos after resizing them! I haven't had the chance to figure out where in the prog to go for adding on my border and text at the bottom (which is for my benefit, not for you guys, lol), but I'm finally able to post photos! Also, the prog I used in WinBlow$ had an auto-contrast that removed all the extra green my camera picks up, which is too much green. This prog doesn't make any visible changes when applying contrast, hue/saturation, etc. :( My camera really does suck, and part of it is that it puts out too much color. I'm still working on finding an image editor that does what it says it'll do. Oh well, so the photos look crappy now, but I can't adjust them to look like the plants do... still better than nothing!

All but one were taken on the 10th... I started to take some last night, and then my camera's batteries died. But they're pretty much up to date, and at least this GJ doesn't appear to be a phantom grow now. ;)

SO! Back left and front right of the first photo are cuttings I took a few days ago from the NL that is still waiting on showing sex. Front center is my new Afghan Kush baby (fem). The rest are clones I took at 18 days of flower, now all rooted and revegging. You can see the "funny" leaves on the back right (Blue Hash)... they don't look like cannabis right now, but that'll change soon enough. The red dot on the top of "B" is a cute little ladybug that had just landed there a moment before I got out the camera. ;)

Very nice Kat! :clap::weed:

That B-plant in the middle looks so different from the others. That LSTing really did wonders for these girls.

Just look at the size of some of those colas  Those babies are weaponized already.

Yummy, buds + thanksgiving = gain 10lbs hehe

How long is the NL expected to flower for? I would love to get my hands on a couple NL clones, one of my favorite smokes. Makes me laugh at the stupidest stuff
