Progressive political positions are not "far left", they're in lock step with the majority of voters

Yeah, yeah, the end is near, Repent!!! Your guy Chris Hedges has made a career out of saying exactly that for about 20 years.

Repeating over and over what Chris "A stopped clock is right twice a day" Hedges doesn't validate it.
Cool story bro.

Let's see you actually present some evidence to support your case.

Blind hate filled bigots describe right wingers to a TEE Buck is no righty

You seem oblivious to the right wing hate and anger ...Trump is the best of your party?
Blind and hate filled sure seems to describe the buckwit seen in these forums.

He's adopted the hate speech of the right in whole cloth, oblivious to the fact that it destroyed his credibility.

Destroyed his credibility? Once again, you are projecting. I don't blame you, it must be difficult for you to post so much in a forum where you have none.

Funny how the "New Left" are pretty much just a hypothetical concept in this country. Aside from whining on social media, they haven't been able to do a damn thing to affect the political landscape except get a few of their members elected in safe districts.

So ineffective are they at battling Trump that they have pretty much abandoned it and spend their time shrilly attacking Democrats that don't share their views 100% and lack the purity that they claim to have.

The entire government is shut down with almost a million people not getting paid. This would seem to be a perfect call to arms for their brand of grassroots activism. But... nothing.

The hubris of these people is amazing. They consistently overstate their influence and then go silent when that influence proves to be an empty paper bag - or even better, they begin to wail and weep about how the system is rigged against them.

So tell me @Padawanbater2, why did your prognostications of Pelosi having to rely on Republican votes for Speaker not work out? You seemed so sure of it and now you just ignore it like the coward that we all know you are.

maybe you have a point. Those programs gave us you and a host of Trumpkins Def not progress in that regard.

Still, I'd rather babies get milk when they need it. So we just have to work harder on other progressive programs and improve education.
So, if you think "babies getting milk" is a function of government, would you have been okay with forcing a woman to breast feed children that were not hers?

Improve education? Do you mean disband government schools and unleash the free market?

WTF Dude. Now you are against a program that would provide free formula milk to babies ? Actually comparing it to slaves being forced to nurse a child not hers. Man your mind is totally fucked.

Did your kids graduate from public school with honors ? Did they attend college after public school ?

I am not against providing free milk to babies.

I am against forcing women to pull out their mammaries or their pocket books to provide milk, if they're not voluntarily inclined to.
Women aren't livestock to be milked y'know!

One kid graduated early, he's an artist, one barely graduated (excessive social life) and now owns several businesses, one graduated and went into the marines to beat up fly boys for stealing oranges.

College is a scam for the most part, but real education is not. I graduated magnum cum loudly and have several degrees gathering dust in a file cabinet. Worship me.

You should know then that Marines is always capitalize. Whats up with your English as of late ?
It would help you to think when you pay taxes that you are only paying for the things you like or use...like the public schooling your children used the fuck out of and the roads you enjoy driving on..etc

Nice deflection from your forced breast milk collection schemes, chair force.

Justice Democrats got seven members elected to congress being active less than two years. They just took office a couple weeks ago..

You expect brand new members to congress change the world in a few weeks yet Nancy Pelosi has been in congress since I was a child and has not done a goddamn thing as speaker except make herself a couple hundred million dollars lobbying and raising money from giant corporations

This is the propaganda bullshit artists like yourself have to push because you can't argue against progressive policy. We know you can't because every time we bring it up, you shift back to the personal bullshit that doesn't matter towards policy. This is how you've become a useful idiot of the political establishment. You do their bidding and you don't even get paid for it. All you get is a tiny endorphin kick like an addict when you think you've made a valid point. I hope the feeling you get when it kicks in is worth it because it comes at the cost of tens of thousands if not millions of others.

So ineffective are they at battling Trump that they have pretty much abandoned it and spend their time shrilly attacking Democrats that don't share their views 100% and lack the purity that they claim to have.
If JD were "so ineffective", you wouldn't be crying about how they're coming to primary corporate Democrats

If we're "so ineffective", what do you have to worry about?

That's a nice tacit admission I'll take to the bank, thanks

7 out of 235 seats won by Democrats in 2018. All seven seats were in very liberal, safe Democratic districts. Justice Democrats only competed in ten or twelve districts in the House. That's paltry effort for something you describe as a vast and powerful new movement.

Are those the only ones you call "progressive"? Would you please name the others?

Out of all 235 Democrats who won, practically all are either incumbents who reliably vote to support progressive legislation or if not an incumbent, won through supporting progressive policies.

What is it that distinguishes Pelosi, who has the same record as Sanders in supporting progressive causes, from what you call "progressive"? Please don't reply if you won't answer this question. In which case you would concede my point. Thank you in advance.

Do you accept legal bribes?

Yes? Then you're not a progressive

It's not that difficult to comprehend if you're not a complete idiot
