Profanity

Ok if you were in tesco or safeway or whatever and your child wanted to go on one of those electric jig em about rides that cost 50p. How would you feel if at the top of his voice he started shouting fuck fuck fuck or shit shit shit or whatever word you want to put there.

I say this because we were in morrisons and my little girl was on a postman pat ride, all of a sudden she started shouting fuck fuck fuck, my face went as red as could be and I felt deeply embarrased, what we have tried to do since is use less profanity and change words around, fuck is now fudge and shit is now sugar. They can have words to express their emotions but the wrong ones could be really embarrasing to you at some point.

What would happen if you took the family round to your parents or somewhere proper where a level of respect was demanded and someone said to your child excuse me but you musnt do that, and your little boy turns round and say fuck off you old cunt.
I'd laugh my fucking ass off. Honestly. I'd laugh even harder if I noticed that people were disgusted by it. I'm very uncouth.

Who cares what other people think? Not me, I never have. People like to pass judgements on other people but who gives a fuck about them?

Caring too much about what other people think can lead to paranoia. Me, I say fuck 'em all.
Dude you have a long hard road ahead of you, so good luck..

Ok i will explain.
You are setting yourself up for failure, and i realy dont care about that...But the sad part and irresponsible part of the whole thing is you are setting your child up for failure as well.
Like i said i am by no means trying to insult anyone here but plp do judge you by the way you talk and act. It not only shows your maturity but your education level. Right or wrong that is how the world works.
So that's all i have to say about this matter. In alot of areas your attitude will bite you in the ass.
Listen im no angle (far from it) but there is a time and place for everthing.

Failure? Is that so. education level? I don't think so. You're not trying to insult anyone yet you claim that I am setting my son up for failure. What the fuck do you know, dickhead?

That is not how the world works, maybe your head-up-your-ass, sucking-up-to-motherfuckers world does, but the real one does not. If people do not like the way I communicate i cease to communicate with them, fuck them.

In a lot more areas my attitude helps me get along. I bow to no man, nor their principals. I have respect but they must respect me too. I do not mind if people swear in front of me so they should respect me when I do it. Respect is a two way street, I don't care if you're acute or obtuse, lol.

This is the biggest load of BS I have seen today. My dad was a very successful businessman, and I do quite well myself. We both have the same "If you don't like me or what I say then go fuck yourself" attitude. No one here has failed my friend.

Have you ever wondered though why nice guys get shit on, its because some people are brought up that the world is a shit place and that you have to look after number 1. As I said before to skunkushybrid its a tough choice to make between doing what you should do and what ultimately in the long run is going to be better for them. I'm sure if you come from pleasantville or whatever then things are different but there are other places in the world where daily life is cut throat, kill or be killed.

everything you know, someone had to tell you.
that's about as deep as a puddle.

free speech (obscene or otherwise) is about respecting the avarage man's rights to say anything he likes.

but profanity is slang and shouldn't be the common speech to strangers and nieghbors. it's just manners.

Right, so by using your rationale... slang words are disrespectful? Bad manners? So if you said 'dough' rather than money this would be disrespectful, bad manners?

Bastard... a word in itself that suddenly one day became a profanity. Profanity is part of our language. It is savoured by millions of us every day. Why is it offensive?

My old friend of 15 years just told me that he couldn't talk to me with his dad around because I cuss too much. He said something similar a while back about his old lady, but I didn't think too much about it then. I'm like WTF man.....why do you hit me up if you are around these people that are offended by the way I talk (we're using Nextels BTW so everyone can hear the conversation unless you put it on private)? That SHIT is just FUCKED up. I mean.......just because I say FUCK and SHIT and PUSSY alot doesn't make me a bad person. How the FUCK am I supposed to know who he is around?

I agree, i never got on well with my friends families... even now my gf's family and I don't talk. they come to my house to see her and the kids... I come up here to talk to you guys.

It's not just about my choice of words, it's also what I choose to talk about they don't like. I'm an out and out truth teller, and i never hold with bullshit. Which is why a lot of the time, I'm better off just keeping my mouth closed and stay out of their way. fighting with grandad wouldn't look good to the kids.
