Problem with organic outdoor grow

Hello all,

This is my first grow and my first post. Things have gone relatively well. I started late receiving my clones on the 24th of May. I potted them in 4” pots and I kept them inside during the nights for a while till it was warm enough and with supplemental lighting on days they had to be inside. Once they were hardened and grew a little I potted into 1 gal sized pot and they were left outside. Eventually they were transplanted into 15 gal fabric pots and right around just before preflower they went to their final homes in 35 gal fabric pots.
initially I was all over the place researching what to do and such so my Initial “soil mix” was not as I would have liked after dialing in the type of grower I am and what I was wanting to achieve.
I am basically a hybrid of living soil and plain Organics. If that is even a thing. I didn’t amend my soil as heavily as I should have and have been top dressing and more recently making teas. I have a journal on my phone but it even confuses me a little. I have made many rookie errors but think they are doing ok. I mainly use Gaia Green nutes but also other brands like npk,Dutch sciences, etc.
i use many amendments depending on what stage and what I think the ladies want like worm castings, compost, HP soil, promix organic soil, perlite, vermiculite, Guanos, insect frass, kelp, afalfa, oyster shell, langbenite, DE, GG power bloom, GG all purpose, myco veg, myco bloom, Bokashi, fish emulsion, humates, humid acids, folvic acids, Epson salt, molasses, clay balls, lava rock, the list goes on lol. Whether it was added to soil or top dress it’s all in there at somepoint. I also added red wigglers and predatory mites from grub grenade to make sure my soil was free of bad guys and on occasion was spraying neem oil with dr Bennett’s soap and aloe or Epsom and such for bugs or just for the ladies. Also using home made mulch for veg and bloom
I haven’t used them all at same time and try to feed less then more but it takes time to learn. Tried morbloom once but didn’t like it and think it may have hurt my plants.
last feeding was
-flower top dress #1 - 1 1/2 cup worm castings, 1 cup compost, 1 cup HP soil, 1/2 teaspoon myco bloom, 3/4 cup power bloom, 1/2 cup AP, 1/4cup Bokashi, 1/4 cup afalfa, 1/4 cup kelp heaping, 1/4 cup insect frass, 4 tablespoon oyster shell/Epsom, 1 teaspoon bloom acids, 1 teaspoon bat guano
-add light layer of worm castings/HP/compost over dressing.
After that my langbenite came in and I thought I was potassium deficient so I did a light top dressing of work castings and 5 teaspoons of langbeinite and did a tea with it and some others.

This was my first flower top dressing and I had done a pre flower one a couple weeks back and a late veg/pre flower one another week or so back at different rates.

Anyways before my last top dressing for about a month I had been having some leaf problems with 1 plants then 2 then 3. My 4th is perfect and happy. First I thought deficient and added this and that to try and help. Didn’t seem to help so after a week or so I thought it was burn so I flushed them (I know now stupid with organic) let them dryish watered and next time did a light feeding and then water and then this flower feeding. 1 seems to have stabilized at its current look and still budding. 1 leaves we’re getting better but now continuing getting worse but still growing and budding and the last of the 3 is doing well and maybe slowly getting some leaf issues but holding well so far. My 4th is great and happy as can be. I should mention I have done multiple clean ups of branch’s and leaves, super cropping, LST, hst, pinching, chrio you name it I have tried it lol. The last big one was removing all the messed up leaves and cleaning bottom before the preflower phase and getting rid of whatever my plants were angry about.
I should say I fucked up and lost track of them during a transplant when my wife helped me move them before I staked them again. I think I know who’s who but that has not helped me regarding feedings lol.
initially I was just watering with a hose and a filter to keep chlorine out no ph. My water is 7-8 ph and 120-175 ppm. I lately have been trying to keep ph of any teas and or nutes to the 6-7 range if it’s too far out of the scale. Also Wasent paying attention to Ppm of teas at first but now been diluting them to around 7-800ppm. I know with organic ph and ppm are not suppose to matter but with my try at living soil mixed with learning as I went I can’t be sure where I’m at so trying to be careful.

I have a feeling I have over fed them and or am out of balance from my rookie mistakes but am looking for some help regarding am I ha omg buying of leaves from nute burn? Or maybe excess of one locking out another ? Or am I deficient? I thought initially k, cal, mag deficient but that can look like burn or lock out from in balance or even over watered which I don’t even think I can do in fabric pots but is a possibility. They don’t droop ever expect my perfect princes before night and the rest get relaxed. They tend to change greens expect my perfect princess who is always dark green.

anyway here are some pictures of them today. Not sure what I missed for info and I know I write like I talk so please ask if anymore info is needed and thank you for any help.

I have more picture ms but can only download so many. I didn’t send any of my perfect princess. She only had a glitch of super light like green almost yellow edges that came out of nowhere only on one beach and anything that came from it but seems to be ok now. A couple of my plants branch’s are in dirt. The ones I tied down late need up growing all sort of nodes at the bottom and with dressing and the crazy amount of roots I have up top they end up deeper then I would have liked. But one is my perfect princess and one is another so not sure if that’s has anybting to do with my issues. Some say it’s good some say it’s bad.

Sorry forgot to mention I believe they are in the 2nd week of flower. 3rd week starting Saturday.

Go bud
Green crack

Okay another addition after reading some sticky’s lol.

first off I’m in southern Ontario if that helps at all.

original soil was a mix of promix HP, promix Organics (I know I know‍‍‍), perlite, vermiculite, sea compost, another compost with worm castings and such (retail crap), I added amendants but not nearly enough for amount of soil but not nothing. Worm castings, kelp, DE, molasses water, and some organic MG shake stuff because at that point I didn’t understand where to get most stuff. It was organic and had a lot of what is needed but it’s slow release and by now is long gone out of my mix thank god. I did use it a couple times in small doses but quickly learned that that type of slow release isbad and don’t trust that it is fully organic being mg. I think that was it and it sat covered for a month or so moist at all times and I would mix it up here and there.

Used that soil till 15 gal adding amendments and top dressings each transplant with myco and such.

final 35 pots were a different mix.
Promix HP, living soil, DE, myco veg & myco bloom, humates/humic folic acids & worm castings and it was watered in with a light compost tea and molasses.

my top dressing would take forever to type but if I want to embarrass myself I could copy my list. But I think the veterans would just get a laugh or ‍Cringe Looking at it.

Overall, not doing too bad. Looks like a little nutrient burn but not to bad. And maybe a little low on magnesium. I would stop trying to feed a lot of things to them and water with one tsp epsom salt per gallon and do a foliar spray with the same mix. Then wait a few days and see what happens.

Thanks jimmip. I was at that stage a bit ago and did a couple sprays. Would it be okay within flower ? Guessing so being buds are small and quick to dry. I have added epsom in original mix and as top dressing throughout as well as watered in a few times plus some of what I add has magnesium. But a little light folair spray won’t hurt or make an excess so I could do some this week. I just added langbeinite very light top and some in my tea which also has mag. It’s the few different looks that gets me confused. Thank you.

Here are some more pictures. Last 2 are the perfect princess. The ones in between the group pics and perfect princess are the 2 with biggest leaf problems and 1 has Minimal leafs issues.

It was much worse last month before the flush and light Nutes and defoliation. Really only one has continued to get worse the others seem to be adjusting.
my plan is water only for this and next week when needed and maybe with aloe and/or molasses and do a couple folair sprays with epsom just to cover some micros and continue to feed the soil. i know they have everything they need. 2 are sativa dom and 2 are indica dom but the % are close. You can clearly see who’s who. They lined up well for heights was a good guess and training lol

No they are looking very good. Outdoor plants dont look perfect after surviving hot days, strong winds can burn leaves slightly but nothing to worry about here.

Thanks BUDS, Last month it was real bad all brown edges and leaves were not happy after the flush and such and a heavy defoliation they seemed to come back that last top dressing has more then what they need all around plus the tea but they could be a little greener and uniform but maybe that is just everything being broken down at different times and that top dressing should be getting to them now as i also added boskshi and acids plus the tea which should of put the microbes and bacteria and fungi in super drive lol.
I will make some updates if i do anything from this point. but so far it sounds like its ok phew!

I hit them with a top dressing and bat guano coming up to preflower late veg and and a nother preflower one and then this flower#1 top dressing.
GG power bloom 2-8-4
bat guano 0-12-0
GG all purpose 4-4-4
plus other shit literally lol, and others as i mentioned up top like kelp, insect frass, alfalfa, etc etc all of which have K as well but till felt i was short some because it looks just like nute burn and like a lot of leaves i had before last month,,,
I just ordered and received my langbeinite last week just after my flower #1 top dressing so i did a light 5 teaspoon because they say its like bat guano and can be strong/burn and then a compost tea in which i added 1/4 cup to, not a lot but I'm not used to this fertilizer. GG says 1 table per gal of soil but i just did a big top dress and was not sure if i could with langbeinite right away. I then added another top dressing as i felt i was to shy with it and added another 5 tablespoons of Langbeinite is 0-0-22 with some compost worm castings etc, lmao also when i added some bokashi i mixed in a little more. I'm 2 weeks in and flower #1 top dressing was basically the first week so was thinking of doing flower #2 at 3 or 4 weeks if the girls are looking happy and not over fed by then. thoughts? I really appreciate any advice help or questions regarding my grow,,, been puffing since i was a kid and now I'm 40 but never grew, it sure has been fun.

My plan was to make the next top dressing mainly p and k and make the k the higher dose and just a little n to help it through aside from that and some teas/molasses/myco bloom I don’t think there is anything beneficial. I have Dutch sciences humates bloom I have used a little and am saving the last bit for the final nute/water before water only. It has a npk of 6-2-12 and figure it will make a nice finish after the final top dressing

Only 1 teaspoon per gallon for soil and spray ?

That is what I use. You can use up to a tbsp for watering but I always use that dose and it has always kept my magnesium levels where they needed to be. Foliar at 1 tsp per gallon has always been the concentration everyone i know uses. You may be able to mix it stronger but I do not. And I don't know anyone personally who does.

Great! Thank you for the confirmation. I appreciate it.

Well 2 of them are progressing and 1 is I think staying the way it was. All have yellowing/browning edges with some lightening of green going palish type colour. I know I topped dressed them well and gave them a tea so I’m either really deficient or locked out/nute burn. I wish diagnosing was easier. There can be so many possibilities lol. I gave them a gal yesterday just to keep the top mulch moist. They also got their final clean up as I’m nearing end of 2nd week. Here are 2 pictures of the leaves from the 2 that are worse. 1 is holding but still same as these 2 and of course my perfect princess is perfect. Any help is really really appreciated. Thanks guys
