Good NEWS! I believe both East Coast Sour Diesels and Strawberry Bubba are FEMALE!! The pre-flowers are very small but unmistakeable. I'll post pics when they mature a little more.

Space is very crowded in the box so I've been pruning the Large Fan Leaves on all of them to free up some space and to allow the lower lateral shoots to start making their way up.. ALPHA DAWG has responded VERY WELL to this and has shot up in height and there is tons of branching! she's definitely going to be a good yielder

What are the chances of getting all females??!! that would be insane.. I couldn't keep all of em if that ends up being the case, i can keep the bigger/healthier of the sour diesels and the healthier of the banana kush and strawberry bubba.. I mean, they're both kush's

Well I'd say if you take really good care of them and I know you do.. and the environment is just right.. the chances are extremely good they could be all girls.

I'd hate to see that Alphadawg get Tossed tho. She'd be my favorite of the bunch. Whatever you decide tho.. the Strawberry Bubba is rare and you might not ever see that one again so I'd take cuts and Veg em someplace else under CFLs if possible. Banana Kush and crosses aren't too hard for me to get. That SD cross is gonna be sick I bet. They're all such nice strains. I'd have trouble deciding but Alphadawg would not leave. Snowdawg is a fav smoke of mine and the fact that its crossed with Chem D.. it's gotta be fucking amazing smoke.

I had heard that the right environment can produce a higher ratio of females.. I guess my lil grow dresser is something special

Alphadawg is here to stay! I never meant I wanted to kick her out.. in my last post I just meant that in addition to the Alphdawg I would keep 2 other females.. So I would choose between the sour diesels and the kushs.. as u stated tho, strawberry bubba is rare so that's gotta be the kush i choose its the bigger of the kush's anyways

Im getting excited and I still got quite a ways to go Already been a lil over a month total time.. I feel honored growing out these strains and I'm exctatic its going so well

Well, I'm down to my 3 females. Alphadawg, East Coast Sour Diesel and Strawberry Bubba are the remaining girls They all are definitely female as the preflowers are much larger and easily visible with the naked eye. I killed the chocolate banana kush and checked out it's root system.. It was very weak This one has been stunted since the beginning and had malformed leaves and overall was just a very weak plant. The other east coast sour diesel may go to a friend or I may hose it down and just check its root system out tomorrow..

I'm very happy with what I have left as they are all pretty similar in size and very healthy..

Are you going to take cuts of the Alphadawg or other ones? You probably should.. taking clones in flower is very possible and I actually do that quite often after determining which plants produce better looking buds just to have backup for the next run. I was thinking about how cool it would be for me to run a huge ass SpaceDawg grow and might do that someday. I'm Running some Spacedawg and SnowdawgBX now...(Alphadawgs cousins).
It would be sweet to have the whole family reunion. Shit I have Omegadawg seeds too. The Choco banana Kush was a project by a guy named JAWS around the boards. He is known for crossing anything and everything. It's too bad yours didn't show some Vigor. Mine did but I fucked em up on accident and burnt the shit out of them being careless.

I don't' have the resources to take clones right now but that might change a few weeks or a month from now. When would it be too late in flower to take a clone? Looks like the alphadawg and sour diesel are branching out excellently but the strawberry bubba looks like its going to be a single cola.. Probably due to the fact that i didn't top it like i did for the other 2..

Here are the 3 females I'm left with which were the healthiest of the 5 females I still can't believe I got 100% females with REGULAR seeds! LMAO..

They are all a little thirsty as you can see from the pictures.. Especially Alphadawg. I was about to give them their first feeding and i dropped my PH Pen into the water!! it was off so i took off the top and threw it in a bag of rice and put it outside for some warmth.. Hopefully it'll be alright. I had to pour out the water to get the damn pen out so I have to wait until my PH pen is working to give these girls a watering/feeding.

I'm simply pruning the large fan leaves to promote lateral shoot growth and provide better light penetration. These are already pruned

wow! these lights are getting pretty popular. i see quite a few getting em now so far its produced results far beyond CFL's! the stems are super thick and growth is abundant. CFL's work but without constant work keeping them at that right distance, they produce sub-par results.. I have 3 grows under CFL and they produced some excellent high-grade bud but the plants never got anywhere near this big or nice

i agree. im comming from cfl's also. i like the idea of the better temp controll, penetration, and the fact that i dont have to keep it 1-2 inches away at all times. im looking forward to growing beautiful plants with this panel

I can't wait to see how your new pg180 does. Hope you pull some fat buds outta there.

My PH Pen is still drying out and seems that it might work again by next watering. Anyways, I fed the girls a half strength feeding yesterday. I used a 1/2 gallon of water for all three girls. 3/4 of that was distilled water, the other 1/4 was filtered tap water. PPM was about 200 before adding nutes. After adding nutes, PPM was at about 900. I ph'd the water to around 6.5ish. Since my PH Pen is on the fritz, i had to use the colored solution to determine PH. not the best way but its worked in the past..

The girls LOVED IT! They exploded with growth so i had to take some new pictures. Alphadawg stands 10" tall, Sour Diesel is at 9" tall and Strawberry Bubba is at 8" tall. Each one grew 1 full inch taller than yesterday.. No burnt tips so the feeding seemed to be just fine for them. I can't believe how healthy they all look.. I've never had plants so healthy looking before Somebody's doing something right.. LOL

Wow lookin damn good. I don't even use a pen or meter. I just eyeball it now. You'll get to that point if you dont switch up your nutes. Those plants look so healthy and killer green color. Its too bad you dont have more space. Id suggest using bigger containers, ull get more bud but youre at the stage now where its kinda the last chance youll have to transplant without possibly f*ckin up the plant. Id do it tho if I were u and if I had space. Cuz those little pots will effect yield big time due to roots twisting around and binding with each other. I'm experimenting with Smartpots now myself and really think I like them. They make small ones, you should check em out. That alphadawgs got me all excited. After this one you should do a Spacedawg or Space Princess grow. I think those are in your future soon. Crystal ball's gettin a lil hazy but I can see it happening.

Man i so wish i had more space! At this point i can't even transplant them. I'm out of soil and out of cash. I just gotta make due with what i got. To be honest, i don't see 3 bigger pots fitting in there unless I do some modifications to the grow box. That intake elbow is cutting my growing space down considerably. I'm just growing for personal use so yield is not necessarily of huge importance to me. As long as I get some good bud out of it I'm always happy.. When I can get a little more growing room then it's all about yield! LOL

You know me.. I'm down for a Spacedawg or Space Princess grow!

Thats how it begins and then one day you decide you want a Cherry Red Ferrari... and then you buy alot more dirt. At least thats kinda what happened to me.
Now its always about yield but just as importantly.. bag appeal! Peeps treat this kinda shit like crack.. SpacePrincess berrymint candy dank. Muhahahahaaa.

Hahahaha! Yea I know what u mean...

Since the girls are getting pretty big, I figured it would be best to move the intake elbow and ducting to the outside of the box as opposed to keeping inside where its taking up valuable space.. It's not as "stealth" anymore but thats ok because the intake side faces the far side of the room and a wall.. plus the growbox is in a closet space so its all good

4/20 UPDATE
All girls are doing great. Color is excellent, no signs of any kind of nute/ph problems. Buds are getting hairy They stretched another inch Alphadawg and sour diesel are about ready for a feeding and strawberry bubba is due for watering since she's using much less water than the other 2 and fell behind on the alternating schedule...

Alphadawg = 11"
Sour Diesel x C99 = 10"
Strawberry Bubba = 9"

hell yes. won't be long now and we get 2 see some killer buds.

I know man.. I've been excited since the start of this grow and remain excited everyday to see how much they've grown Right now I'm manually turning on and off the lights everyday since I've been out of work and unable to purchase a timer. I just landed an I.T. Consultant position so I finally have some decent cash coming in again! New Timer and PH Pen Friday!

it is apparently never too late to take a clone in flower...but the longer the flower time the longer i assume the reveg will take...I have never tried later than 5 weeks, but at 5 weeks it works...lol
