I never get the 3D things either. Not as much of a problem though now that I'm an adult. haha. Same with my friend in match class. He couldn't do simple math for shit, but now he owns his own grow store. Weird how things work out.

on the unknown strain i dubbed stinky pinky, all that turned pink was the stems. the hairs were yellowish white, turning to fiery orange/red. very nice pics though; appreciated=)
still reeking like chocolate, the berry smell is getting stronger though, and crystal production is up.

each peat pellet has some healthy poppies growing, so theyre out in open air to avoid damping off.

I feel for you, though I never had that particular critter in my garden yet. When I did a quick check on this pest, I read that most gardeners eventually go with chemicals to kill them off. Have you had an infestation before? What aspect of your garden's environment makes it appealing to the thrips? How did they gain access to the space?
Sorry to throw a lot of questions at you, but 1) I want to avoid the problem for myself and 2) if you post the details, other readers might have tips to contribute.

ive never had any infestation of any kind before.
ive read that thrips cant stand moisture and love plants high in nitrogen, so im assuming the low humidity (30%) and i let the coir dry out between waterings(where they lay their eggs) is are beins the problemses.
i have no idea how they got in, its pretty sealed. they are very tiny though so who knows. they might have hitched a ride on some peat pellets bought at the local shop.
the coir will get a healthy dose of nematodes and i will no longer let it dry out, and am unleashing the hounds of hell aka ladybugs tonight right before lights out. im also dosing all other house plants with the nematodes so they have no place to lay their eggs. i made sure to get all the dead leaves out of everywhere, and squashed em as i found em. muahahaha. hope it works as ive got another batch of clones just dying to stretch their roots out.
well live and learn. then boil the fuck out of everything that you dont want to bleach. lol
on a much lighter note. this skunk is fuuuunnnkkky boy weee. its fkn snowin in the tropics i aint shittin. swell is leaving a bit to be desired but oh well, day 32.
most of the chocolate is gone. i brushed up against a side cola, just barely. my whole arm smells like a fucking volcano of..of..of..of.... omfg deliciousness. i cant put it into words... sweet then sour, skunky, earthy, piney, then sour and sweet then sour again.... such a combination its overpowering.. it just made me hungry i swear.

well..... just found some lacewing eggsacks on some plants outside, so, if theyre droppin dueces there, they expect some food fo deys chirrens.
