I have been using hash oil for pain management. The last batch I made was good, but my yield was less than it should have been.
When you make your oil, do you prefer to freeze your plant matter, or dry it out? I'm worried about losing trichomes as they fall off during grinding and transfering between containers before the point where the solvent gets evaporated.
To me, logically it would make more sense to freeze the material whole, freeze the glass jars I will be using for mixing ect and then grind it up and start the process. My thought process is is that if the oils, trichomes, ect are frozen, they will be less likely to leave that sticky keify residue on implements and not get...lost in translation.
What are your thoughts? I know there are many different ideas on this out there, just wondering what your personal preference is and why.
Thanks ya'll, have a happy day
