I do that already I find it helps to put cuttings in cups then in small pots then med pots finaly into big pots. I add a hot soil each transplant so i hardly feed and they shoot up fast. just repot before the get root bound

SO basicly treat the clone as if it were a seedling?
I think that would be a waste of time. Here is a better idea. Have a veg room and let the fresh cuttings sit in the 16oz cups on the side of the garden. Plant them and water them with a 1/4strenght/ b1.. So basicly vitamax for two weeks.
Pre veg tho? i thought it was just veg? If you grow them under weak light they will build a weak system. laggy and what not.
Its kind of like outdoors. The fresh seedlings or clones need some shade untill the roots build. Makes sense.
This is why the grow bible tells you to water seedlings with a b1 two days before transplanting. All the veg should stay in one room because lumens add up. And they are all on the same cycle anyways. I just have my clones with heat matts on the side of the garden. It only takes 4 lights of veg and you will have enough for 24 lights
Moms and veggin plants can share.

well NO. this method is to build up to a higher condition of growing. think of it like training wheels. they keep u safer and teach u how to ride b4 u hold urself up. if u dont like the thread negative nancy dont post or read it. BUT im SURE that ERIK BISKA has got something goin on here, or else i DONT think it would be in a MAXIMUM YIELD magazine. heres an idea do a side by side urself!!! after death pull up the 2 different ones and check out the roots! see witch build stronger and witch didnt. MR. smileyface, u make me frown.:-(

i suppose.

just readies them for a more vigorous growing conditions. ive noticed that the first couple weeks after roots hit r kinda slow growth anyways, i belief that is so because its till establishing its foundation and mass of roots. thats y i think this low NUTE, high BIO-activity will really help it do so. right now im using 1 ML of honey ES, 2 ML cal-mag plus, 1 ML superthrive per gallon. so far (2 days, lol) No burn.

good info, but to me, it simply reads as growing a plant properly with care as opposed to some magic "pre-veg" stage.

as i say though, lots of good info

no magic? where would u think that? it does help a good harvest with clones especially! my thai-skunk im flowering right now that i did this too is a sizable difference bigger than the rest of my plants in flowering and they were all 12-12'd the same day.

good stuff, i have been growing a clone in a small party cup & i have been putting it though hell. so far it is growing better than the ones i care more about. I do try to keep my clones under the floros for at least 7-10 days after i see good roots, and when i keep em in there for 14-21 days they are way faster in the veg box.
