Hope it's not annoying if I post pictures every 3 or 4 days for a couple of weeks.
Having fun and could probably post everyday lol.

I put seeds in paper towels 2-14-18. they had 1/2" tails on the 19th and peeked out of the soil 2-21-18.
I start counting days from when they peeked on 2-21-18 right?
If it is then they are 6 days old.

The 1st time I watered I had a problem with to much run off.
I watered plant # 2 for the second time and still struggled to avoid to much run off.
I usually do not worry about it with seedlings because a small cup or pot is just a temporary home.
My soil is draining really fast and it is hard to water from the top without getting to much so yesterday I tried watering from the bottom. I left the pot sitting in a bowl of water for about 20-30 minutes. It wicked some water up and then after removing it from the bowl I gave it a light watering from the top to get the upper soil moist with minor runoff. I think I'll be watering that way for a while.

Light on 3:45 am, off 3:45 pm.

I have my 400w mh about 18" away from them now and may bring it a couple inches closer in time.
Changed my 8" duct and saw how gross my inline fan was. Took a picture of the inside but don't think I'll show that one lol. Should have been cleaned a while ago.

Pictures of day 6.

Ha ha damn im So far behind :) nice shrubs
Thanks, bro! And, it’s cool, it’s only by a week or so. I’m sure some of these guys are running some Sativa-dominant strains. We’ll all be finished at various times anyway.

Just 1 cup About 95% petite, 5%soil. Been top dressing it with more perlite. Cup is almost filled to the brim now
I’ve always used organic soilless coco/sphagnum-based medium, myself. I was just curious, because I want to see how that one performs.

For any of you considering mushrooms, casing is just an option when it comes to the Psilocybe genus, particularly cubensis. Myco piss, as we call it, is where antibiotics come from. This is the metabolites produced by mushrooms digesting nutritious medium, and it fights contamination. Other strains like P. copelandia require casing.

Surely we could make an exception if you're only a few days late? Its certainly no advantage, unless you know some backwards ass secrets.

Im hoping a few little tricks ive learned over the years will help (probably not)

Gota work on the bathroom remodel or the lady will not be happy :)

2 of the sprouts are growing nicely. 2 of em r deformed but made it thru. Those 4 (2 for each comp) r in perlite, happy frog, ocean forest, epsom salt, calcium carbonate powder. I never set sprouts in that soil and I can see my 2 deformed ones are burnt a Lil bit. It's all I had ATM. Finally went and got the stuff I always use for sprouts and my backups r in those now with a inch of super soil on the bottom. Never had a problem with this stuff. I tp to the super soil after 18 days when deficiencies occur

I use and recycle a mixture of Roots Organics’ Formula 707 and GreenLite. I use Roots Organics’ Master Pack and Dry Nutrients Player Pack.

Green Light is my favorite for seedlings and young plants. I used to use light warrior but I've found the aurora products to be more consistent.

If it works out I'll top them in about 2 weeks.

Been thinking of what and when to feed the 1st time.
Small amounts of food more often is the plan so far.
Maybe feed every 3 weeks.
Will probably try different mixes for each plant.

Some Epsom salt dissolved in water will be used at least once before flower.

For the 1st feeding I'm looking to use small quantities of the items pictured (excluding the Epsom) with a small amount of perlite added.
With the above I'll add a small amount of a balanced fertilizer.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd have a worm bin going. That will be my excuse if they fade fast, I didn't have fresh castings lol.

I love Aurora. I’ve tried FoxFarms, Dr. Earth, and MG Nature’s Care during my very first run. I love Aurora/Roots’ incredible quality, and their commitment to ethical harvesting. I use them exclusively. They are a bit expensive, but honestly, I don’t mind getting what I pay for. Even if I ever switched to another line, the least I would use is OregonismXL, Extreme Serene, Trinity, and Amino Aid.

That’s a cool little setup, too. Reminds me of when I used to use Dr. Earth core nutrients and FoxFarms amendments.
