yes those little preflowers growing out from the stems are preflowers, still to young to tell if its male or female yet be patient and give it lots of water and lots of veg neutes at this stage. you will be able to tell if your plant is female if white hairs start comming out. i would say within a month you will know then switch up the nutes!! good luck

ROLF... okay, those are NOT preflowers AT ALL.
Looks like new shoots growing out (secondary growth), which has nothing to do with flowering. Those are going to grow into more fan leaves.
The preflowers will appear between those secondary shoots and the stipules (the pointy things that stick out from each node).
