Saw a few gnats so I Got an egg sac that is housed seperate. Caught this little guy in action

not sure of he was victorious. Got distracted. Pretty cool though. Gonna recollect them and put em back in their cage in an hour.

Actually you know what. I think this beats the lady bird theory. If you mesh your inlet it could sustain him with out the need of removing him. Humidty would be the concern. Obviously once the problem went out him back.

a Praying Mantis is an effective predator, but more against larger insects, sometimes even mice.

be careful though...
if its hungry, it may gnaw at your toes if your sound sound asleep and your duvet doesnt fully cover your feet :mrgreen:

Have about 30 of them still housed in a 5 gallon cheese puff container, let loose about 50 of them on the garden outside, flowers and random plants. Pretty cool cause they are all pretty much still there. Just chilling.

we dont get them here at all, never saw one live in action.

biggest insects here are draginflies, also very nice to watch
