Hello, I want/need to do a bud wash for my plants. All over the internet I've seen the H2O2 and lemon juice recipes, but I have powdered citric acid. Could it be better to use it instead of lemon juice, and if so, how much in how much water? Thanks

Is this just a cleaning wash or a bug wash?

Usually for bugs it would be 2-3 teaspoons per quart.

For bugs I use H2o2 and warm water.

Understand that if you dunk the buds for a minimum of 45 seconds the bugs drown and come off to a certain extent.

You will never get them all off. It's just not possible.

I cut the main cola. Theoretically it should have been done on Dec 7 but, it was the main cola and no longer had transparent trichomes and had maybe 30% amber. I did the bug wash in H2O2, then citric acid, and then RO water and hung it. I wonder what would happen with the smell: I have been spraying them with h2o2 and citric acid prior to harvest and they smell like bleach sort of. Would that smell go away and they will recover their tropical smell? Or I'm going to have to forget about them smelling good and just enjoy the smoke effects?

The top cola looks bright and nice after the bug wash. Picture attached.

The rest of the plant I'm cutting it in one week. And another plant, same strain, cutting it in 10-15 days, depending if it doesn't get super full of pests.
