posting pictures

Just post the pics to photobucket and then to here...and make sure that your phone isn't logging the location with the pics...it is a setting within the phone...
I don't take too many internet precautions, but I feel like the cops aren't perusing this site to catch people simply because there are pics of pot all over the internet, and catching people is expensive...can't go chasing every teenager that gets on here posting google grow op pics.

do i ha ve to worry about posting pictures with my phone. i hear so many dif things
if your camera, be it phone or handheld has gps functions attached to the image, your coordinates are easily viewable by running the exif data through a program found readily on the internet. If or one won't use my phone to post pics here, I use an older 8mp camera that does not have gps coordinates in the exif data stored on the image.

Who cares if ur legal. I f ur worried about rippers, they have noses. That is all that is needed 4 a theif. I think it was double jj or dirty d who talked about stinking up their whole city block! That's all the gps a theif needs.

I'm pretty sure not everyone here is legal, you do realize that it's still a federal crime right? You have seen the news about the crackdowns recently right? And gps coordinates can lead right to your house where a thief could use their nose. Or Piggies could look if your posting commercial grows and dumb shit.

I post from my phone through photobucket.
It's a option in "settings" that allows you to turn off the geotag on upload.

^^^^ taken with my phone
No gps data attached to them cause I turned it off

But in all honesty if the Feds wanted my info from the internet they can get it easily. I'm not doing anything to get the attention of the feds though. As long as you aren't growing fields of plants you're as safe as everybody else who post on here.

All very trrue. But if u were a commercial grower probally best time not to be talking about it. I think they would know this. If they r where it is not legal u r right again. But if u r legal patient growers like most of us who cares. Those pigs can smell it on patrol u know, n they definately don't have resources to troll through riu n every tother grow site 2 track gps. Plus go on google earth n check some heavy grow areas can be spotted all over. Just always be ready 4 a theif.

I'm willing to bet the majority here are not legal patients, which the feds don't recognize anyway. Also look around thereare commercial growers here posting pics. A few years ago a guy put pics of himself flipping off a chopper flying overhis field. Guess what he got? Trouble.

The fact that piggies can go through your phone on an arrest is enough for me to keep it off my cell. Just not worth it to me. To each there own but my precautions have kept me from ever wearing bracelets unlike a few buddies who got complacent. Which is what I'm just warning about, complacency.
