Four Skunk 1# from Seedsman, each in a 4g pot with Organic soil mix of me own, been toped/FIM and trained a bit, under 470W of LEDs (Fero Bulldog and a LG panel)

Haha Thanks! It pretty much is lol I lst'd the fuck out of her! LMFAO

Gonna post pics when she is trimmed without any fan leaves or anything, and then when she is stripped of the buds with just the stem structure left. It should look pretty wild.

Yea it has something to do with the spectrum mixing I believe. You can see if you put your hand right under the led's a bunch of different colors but as you move your hand down, it gets purpleish white. Ive noticed that the max LUX generated on a shelf of my t5 ho's at 5000 lumens each bulb 6 bulbs, is like 30,000lux. Adn that is almost touching the bulbs. the buds on the plant I posted are getting between 27,000-50,000 while staying basically as cool as the air in the room. Hopefully the buds will be denser than with t5's at aroudn 90+F o_O
maybe with the lights close they were getting too much light and going into saturation which can shut down or even destroy chlorophyll.with the narrow bandwidth and tight focus of leds. plants can get a lot more red and blue light from leds and to much will stop growth

Yea trying to find the optimal distance for leds for veg/flower, but so far, they are killing t5's since they can hit more than double the lux at over a foot that the plants would get touching t5 bulbs, except the led's keep it super cool at those distances which is great.

here are some AKR shots. Still swelling!

d**m that is a cute plant.never seen a bonsai cannabis before but seriously. I am currently growing under T5 full spectrum lights (wave point ultra growth wave) and experimenting with leds. my first trial did not go well. I was using a single 50 watt 3000k diode and the plant stretched way too much so now I am trying a mix of 3000k and 6000k 10 watt diodes. and hoping for better results. once I find a mix I like and see how it performs on a test plant I may expand the panel and start growing with leds. you may be right.they may be the best option for a closet grow.I will find out in a couple of month if I have a mix that will outperform T5s but it is a fun project.

top is a CLW solar flare 160 watts with a subcool 3d sativa, Lower frame is a shiva skunk that was loving life under a pro-grow260x, 240 watts. both grow well but the 5 watt diode thing without lenses puts the light housing right on the plants, the 3 watt lensed lights are able to be hung higher in the tent for better heat dissipation.
