I strolled in there this morning and there were two tables running. Topshelf must have slept in as I didn't see him or his wifey. Everything was very low key and professional.

I came out of there with some Aurora, Oregon State Big Bud and Sweet Island Skunk. I've sampled them all over the course of the day and evening...and I really, really enjoyed the SIS. Big sweet taste on inhale, and a fruity aroma. Steady, even haze for me. Gave me a laugh as I sat outside.

10-8, everyday...still a $5 door entry fee along with your card and valid ID. Place was very clean and no sign of any unsavory people hanging around other than myself. I would guess there was 15-20 different selections, all in clearly marked jars on their tables. I just don't see rolling back up to the Sophia Co op anytime soon, unless Cannabliss bites the big one.

Hey guys and girls! Just got back from another visit to Cannabliss! Very friendly growers! I picked up some Chemdog (I love it), Raspberry Kush, Purple Kush and a strain called "Stinky Fruit" which was recommended to my friend for a daytime med, to allow a patient to go back to work with their mind intact. I am not sure if this is just a local strain, or what, but it's name fits. Actually very tasty stuff, and pretty good anti anxiety. I took some pics of the Kushes and will try to post them later.

Very nice selection today, as seems usual! I have always considered myself a very discerning smoker, enjoying the many qualities of marijuana. I went to school in Southern Oregon, and cut my teeth on some high quality mj from Humboldt to BC. Now, I hope establishments like this will continue to raise the bar for growers like me, and help ensure we are staying ahead of the times with the quality of our medicine! Thanks again, Cannabliss! I hope patients are getting in there.

Anyone have any feedback on if they are getting plenty of patients in there?

Been there 3 times, and not sketch at all. They have invited the chief of police and the mayor down to check them out. For now, it allows a clean place where patients can learn about strains that can help them, and try many of them. This is also an opportunity for growers to recoup some of the growing costs, so that is nice. I definitely put a lot of money out there right now, for free medicine for my patients, so I would love to be able to recoup some costs legally. I just want to see it operate for a while. But I may be down there in a couple months, you never know.

Post your thoughts, guys! Keep this business going with posts of your medicine you received here! This will only help it become more legitimate....more patients, more selection, better quality.

Another successful visit with the growers. Looked like 3 down there with another one just coming in the door as left. Jars and jars of green buds...I picked up a little Green Queen, Super Lemon Haze and a few j's of some variety that I can't remember (chocolate something/Thai combo). These j's were pretty fat at 1 gram.

I just tried the haze and it had the customary lemon/citrus pull, but milder than some. Kind of a soaring high...if I had a job, I'd go do it. If I had shit to do, I'd do it. Haze working on the energy I have...hahaha

The Green Queen had nice looking trichs, equal amounts of brownish hairs, but the buds were smaller and less bag appealing than most. The donation was reasonable for this type of med. Will work nicely for the nausea.

Made a trip down there last night as they were having a party budbook style. There is some good thinking being done by the folks involved. Totally luv the farmer's market and variety of tasty treats !!

I have to say, the variety of strains and the friendliness of the farmer's market was extremely appealing. They just need to step it up around the theme and decor of that concept. The office cubicles are lame and not in the same class as the rest of the building and ambiance. They need to make it more like a bar, tea house or rustic farmer's market in terms of creating a more appealing vibe and ditch the flouro's. It's just not congruent.

All in all, from the first impression I received upon being greeted, meeting new folks and sampling a bit of what was offered, I'm both impressed and delighted that something like this is available in my hood.

Much thanks and gratitude goes to all the activists, organizers, patients, growers, caregivers, etc. who have paved a way for MM to exist in peace.

All right, guys and girls! I could not post pics for a while for some reason, but I wanted to post some pics of what I picked up last time at Cannabliss. Some really impressive stuff. Herban Farmacy is CRAZY GOOD. I got some nice hash (Roger was the strain)...super tasty, as well as Raspberry Kush, which is one of my new favorites out there. I think they do a great job with their cure, it grinds beautifully, and releases all the wonderful flavors and aromas when smoked. By far my favorite with consistent quality every time I get down there.

There is also a young gentleman down there who was next to Herban Farmacy, and he had a Blackberry Kush that was beautiful...I have some nice pics of that. It really had great bag appeal with the purple underlayers within the bud. Again, another good cure, great smoke overall.

The last pic was Snowberry. The smoke was a little harsh, and not the best cure. Still a little clingy in the grinder. It definitely did the trick, but I think this looked better in the jar on display. The bud I got was not as covered in crystals as the display bud that sold me....haha. Not trying to be harsh, overall, the bud did what it was supposed to do...medicate you...but there were other, better options there to smoke on in my humble opinion.

Thanks again, guys, for being there! It really allows us growers and patients to get together, and raise the bar on our fine, Oregon Grown Medicine.

The pics of the 2 buds together are the Raspberry Kush, the single bud with the naked stem is the Blackberry Kush that was so good, and the longer, thinner bud is the Snowberry. Thanks again, guys! I enjoyed all 3 strains, as well as the hash. Boy oh boy was that great hash.

this place can, and will most likely get busted.

we had 4 down here and all but 1 followed all the rules and yet they still got busted, it is not legal in oregon to do this type of thing.

i hope and wish it does not though, i do not wish any sort of thing on any one for any reason, just trying to let every one know to be safe and aware

I figure it like this...if the shelf life for these grower co op's is so short then I think they should have "Going out of Business soon" donation suggestions. Maybe I could get a special deal like I do for my pellets for my pellet stove. Buy a pallet and save... just have the forklift move mine into the corner of my garage.

It did cross my mind when the door guy at Cannabliss discussed the monthly membership option should I want to go that route...I did think, "What if you don't make it a month?" hahaha

But I'm between resources, and the grower co op situation has made "med" acquisition much more above board than the obvious other methods.

Yeah, I have not paid a monthly yet either, but I do not need to go more than 2 times a month, so that is fine to pay the 5 dollar door charge to keep him in business. I am hoping the mayor and police chief get down there and take them up on their invitation for a tour. That would help legitimize it.

I view the co-op like this for me......I would go down there to help people get access to good medicine, but I would not be down there that often, just enough to recover expenses for the year.....like lights, electric, nutes, soil, etc. I think growers need to make sure they are just covering a reasonable amount of expenses for themselves, and allow a lot of growers to do this. If they grow good stuff, it should fly off the shelves.

I hope more people sign on to rollitup, AND get down to Cannabliss!

a co-op is a place where multiple patients can grow theri own on a piece of some ones land, not some where to go buy medicine.

Actually, you are right and wrong. You are wrong for not contributing to this thread, and trying to correct people on some petty bullshit. You are also wrong that Cannabliss cannot be considered a co-op. The only thing you are right about is that a place where multiple patients can grow their own medicine in a home or on their land can be considered a co-op.

Have you been to Cannabliss yet? Did not think so. You live in Southern Oregon. Try correcting people about a place you have first hand knowledge about, and try looking up the definition of co-op before you go opening your yapper.

I see this guy stalking people the other day, and now just trying to be a jerk. And not looking very good doing it.

im not wrong, and being from southern oregon doesnt mean we have different laws smart one.
and i did contribute to the thread even though i didnt really care to but i did, it is still ILLEGAL to do what this place is doing, why do you think they all get shut down at one point.
i wont ever go to cannashit either i dont want to pay cash just to get in, fuck that.
and no i am not trying to be a jerk just letting people know

a co-op os exactly what i said it was.

actually, when you give an unflattering nickname to a place you have never been to and know nothing about, you do sound like a jerk.

the only thing you are letting people know is that you are petty and have some little grudge against the op. this is clear from many threads of his that you have tried to shit upon.

Seems like you have no idea what you are talking about....Being from Southern Oregon (as opposed to Multnomah County), you should know you are living in a more conservative environment down there. I lived there for 10 years, so I have first hand knowledge.

You have not contributed to any thread, except negative garbage, from what I have seen. No real usable information comes from guys like you.

And, now you are trying to give a bad nickname to a place you have never been, and claim to never want to go? Then get off the fucking thread. You did not care that it was illegal to ASSAULT someone, and end up with a felony, so why the big deal about Cannabliss? Honestly, the more you post, the more of a joke it becomes.

And again, I can tell you did not look up the definition of a cooperative.....lol. Ignorance is bliss, and you have a shit eating grin...

And for your last comment, you have not been to Cannabliss, so really, why would anyone trust your weak ass opinion, which is based off of nothing. Laughing at you up here in PROGRESSIVE and LIBERAL Portland.

I want you to post the definition of a co-op when you actually look it up, so you can show you educated yourself. If I do not see this on your next post, I am just going to put you on the ignore list, because this will be proof you do not want to have intelligent conversation, you just want to move your yapper.

I'd go to one if closer to me, Im sick of the mediocre meds I see around. Doggone I knew I shouldn't have grown all them other yrs indoor in another state, then moved out here, thinkin I was going to find a scene that doesn't exist anymore. Everybody charging, no matter what they say, Portland so far to me has the best meds, people will do indoor right there, mid south to south, they still fight that outdoor, and everyear its the ole avid didn't work, mold got me, pm got me, LMFAO, hey if you can't do it outside, maybe consider inside......just a thought...........lil more control..........good luck finding a cool landlord...........lmfao.........no wonder OR isn't mentioned in the same breath as CA or CO? Old Hyb must be rollin in his grave bout now
