pollinate or re-veg?

i have some beautiful bubba kush ox plants going right now in flowering about 4 weeks or so. i took clones about 2 weeks or so ago from them which is later in flowering than i like to take cuts but anyways today when i pulled up the humidity dome i realized there was mold growing on top of them. i lost all of them and im too late into flowering to take clones at this point.

here is my question, i have a couple males of that strain in another room putting pollen out, should i pollinate them in hopes of finding similar phenos or should i wait until harvest and try to re-veg them and take clones?

you can have both, keep you males isolated and transfer small amounts of pollen by paintbrush
pollinated branches will continue to mature seeds during the reveg
or so i have read, i have pollinated and revegged, but never both at the same time

Cuttings can be taken at week four of flower depending on strain and grower technique.

Harvest your pollen. Dry it. Freeze it. Take more cuttings. Don't let them die. Harvest your mother when ready and begin reveg. When mother or cuttings are at appropriate week of flower...pollinate. GL

heh so the ox plant that i wanted to keep the most threw like 3 nanners and i think pollinated itself! also i tried pollinating just a few lil branches like u guys said and they took well.. shouldnt have done it with the fans blowing tho, lol i have lil seeds appearing here and there all over my garden.

@AllenHaze, there isnt any viable cuttings to try and clone. they have full lil buds growing on all of them which would likely just mold. i might be a bit further than week 4 btw. im just gonna collect the seeds and try to reveg her after harvest..

you can take cuttings at any stage of flower they will root fine, even if it is a fat nug on a stem,
they should not go moldy in the time it takes to root, you may of kept them too wet

the more into flowering you take them, the more towards a full rejuv they will look like when they regrow with all the distorted regrowth

if it was say 6 weeks flower it would still save some time to take a bud cutting over a rejuv after harvest
it should root in 10 days or whatever and be growing normally in 3-4 weeks then it can be flowered

if it was 8 weeks flower i think i would wait, harvest it and leave a little bit of bud at the bottom for a rejuv

no need to start throwing pollen around really, but if you want to do that too, who knows you might get lucky

peace

I've taken cuttings successfully at 7 weeks flower. Good luck with the reveg and at least you got some seeds.

ok cool, i have taken cuttings about half way through flowering with no issues but they were normally pretty airy lil popcorn buds not like these.. also the bubba kush is pretty susceptible to mold as is so a tight lil bud in a humidity dome would definitely mold especially in extra time needed to root a flowering cut.. maybe ill try it with no dome and a heat mat

do not spray them other than the first time you put them in the dome
keep enough water at the bottom of the dome to keep up the humidity so it does not wilt
they will root in the same time as a cutting taken in veg
after they root, it will take them 3-4 weeks to grow right, they will grow like a re-veg
or use an aero/bubbler type cloner they do not need so much humidity

it shouldn't be a problem, but you will have to make sure you don't keep the cuttings too wet
after 3 or so days in the dome you can keep the slots open for much of the time
which will stop them having moisture on the surface of the leaves/bud
roots should be seen in 10 days or so, it would be quicker with an aero cloner
