Plumeria???

am wondering if anybody is growing plumeria???i here alot of brits do...love them myself..have several...cant beat the smell of the flowers..any body growing plumeria have any they would like to trade???looking for differant colours

i don't have any but do you know of a site that has them? i want more plants i just don't have quick resources, took me a month to fine Egyptian cotton, just cause my search didn't have fine between cotton and Egyptian. when i do get mine ill trade. i love the band also, so pissed i didnt go see them. o and whats the shortest i can get im limited on space.

I have bought them as a plain looking stick that all you had to do was stick in dirt. Well they did sprout but never bloomed and I was very patient. Z6 here so not hardy and not enough "light" in the sunroom. Good luck and maybe you will be making lei's before you know it. GL

Im not sure if you got plumerias, but I have advice on keeping them nice and clean. I have 5 HUGE plumeria trees in my yard that anyone standing around my house can smell easily and I can make leis everyday if I wanted (and have for people visiting). I am talking about the trunk of the plumeria tree is about 8-10 inches in diameter on all of them. Im not sure if this is just a Hawaii thing, but here we get a white cottage cheese looking substance and black spots on the leaves and branches sometimes if not taken care of properly. If you get a sprayer that has a bottle attached to the hose, fill it about a quarter way full of Dawn dish soap, and the rest water. Spray the whole tree down every other day and the white and black stuff will go away. If I am too vague, let me know and ill elaborate more. GL
