So i have just found out that i have 2 girls! culled the 1 male as soon as first sign of male. Now my question is im in a small area. Some of the fan leaves are blocking light from hitting where the buds are gonna grow. Is it alright if i cut them or is it to much stress on the plant?

I would try as hard as possible not to cut them. if you're using CFL's (sounds like it) i would get some more and place them around the sides of your plant. cutting isnt bad, but it is what the plant lives and grows off of. no leaves = no photosynthesis.

Don't cut your fan leaves - they are your plant's solar panels/food pantries. As it happens, light actually penetrates through these leaves - but if you are really worried, you can gently tuck the leaf under the branch out of the way, or, make a slit in the middle of it and move the two halves out of the way.:peace:

No i am using a 250W MH for both stages. Mylar around all sides. fans for ventilation temp stays at 80 degrees.
Add a couple of CFLs mid-level. They won't mess with your MH lighting and will give more lights to the sides/underneath that is beneficial. Cheap too, you can get a pack of 4 23w (100w equiv) for like $12 and a couple of clam lights for $6ea.

yea Tall Toker if you have room to stick cfls in there go for it. they dont get too hot and you can stick them pretty close to the plant (2-3 inches) safely. if you dont have enough room for a reflector you can buy the light bulb adapter that allows you to plug it into a socket. you can buy a cheap 6th extension cord and just place the bulb where ever you need it. the adapters are 2 bucks and the cord is about 2 bucks from wally world.
