New members cant use the private message feature until a set number of posts (which I dont know) or a certain time period here (which I also dont know). Too many spammers was the reason. I'm afraid I cant help much on that, all I can advise is to post some more and contribute some knowledge!

They do kind of have that "Chinese-mass-produced" look. The kind of look usually associated with cheaper made glass. No offense to you or your glass blowers at all, They could be and probably are very well made.

Yes, we mass produce. We never claim to be innovative in any way. But I dont agree that they have a 'Chinese mass produced' look, maybe I am biased though :)
We think (and so does our US, UK, AU and CA costumers) they are well made.

I have looked thrugh 'researchkitty's' work, while we could do the same (very cool) work as he/she does, it would simply not be profitable for us.
We have equipment worth more than $150.000, so once we fire up the torches, we damn better blow some glass.

I totally understand why many of you prefer glass work done by blowers like researchkitty.

I have just done a deal with a member from here, both a pipe and a 7mm thick glass bong. I look forward to an HONEST review.

Just to kill the myth of 'underpaid Chinese workers'
Our best blowers make the equivalent of $1600 a month.

I probably wouldnt have replied but since you brought my name in it. :) :) My glass is artsy glass. Your glass is production glass. Neither is better or worse, its just different. Mass produced glass uses more clear than color. Clear is already in tube form, color (generally) is not, so its much faster to make stuff fast. You wont find china mass produced wigwags, or oil anything, for the most part. Just dry spoons and sometimes small bubblers.

Mass produced glass IS STILL BOROSILICATE. Just like any pipe I make, or any other glassblower here.

What you pay for when you buy "rk" glass is a lot of time and excessive color. What you pay for when you buy "production" glass is a lot less of time and a lot less of color, hence the price differences.

There is nothing wrong with production glass, or artsy glass, its the Apples vs Oranges. Most production glass comes from the USA now, not China or India, while some still does it just isnt as dominant as it used to be.

Anyhow, Hopefully people wont think of us as competitors, we're not. All glass is welcome for sale here. Apples vs Oranges. :)

Love to see em!

For mass production oil domes, just buy a 14/19 and saw it off one inch above the grind/tube connection. Then melt the saw marks and voila, there's your oil dome. Only use the torch to melt the tip of it thats all nothing more nothing less. That's what the local lathe shop does so their tubes have oil domes. Its very quick and if you sell em for even $5 a piece your profitable. When you have some, I'll surely review one in an honest fashion. Who can say no to glass at your door? :)

Yeah, its simple enough. We will make the entire Rig(?) I am not sure of the correct term...
It will be with a disc perc at the bottom.

We are doing a trial for a guy in Vegas of 100 pieces at first. I better make 101 pieces and send you one then.

If its a hand held device with bubbles and a male connector, its an "oil rig" yup. If it has a female, it'd be a tabletop or handheld whatever I guess. The terminology gets so mixed up and confusing I cant keep anything straight myself. As long as a customer holds it and says "fuck yea!", its all good! :) :)
