I wouldnt continue spraying the grow area with anything unless it's a must, chemicals that have dried can still be released into the air by heat in some cases.

Your humidity level at 41% is perfect,a little low for veg cycle but again nothing to worry about, when your in bud cycle the 40% humidity level will be 100% in your favor by seriously decreasing the risk of any molds in the room or on the bud,you dont need a humidifier or a dehumidifier.

I fully understand the restraints caused by high electric costs but something simple & cheap should be done about the temp, try having your lights out durring the hottest part of the day, then when your in bud cycle at 12 dark & 12 light have the lights off durring the heat of the day.

Try to figure out a way to increase air flow through the grow tent,i wish i could be more help with that situation but my grow experience is only with full sized grow rooms of atleast 10ftx10ft dimensions, the easy fix to the heat build up is going to be by increasing air flow in & out of the tent, however it is accomplished.

Have you thought about adding a powered exhaust vent to the top of the grow tent ? just pulling out the hottest air from the top of the tent should be able to drop the temp atleast 5 degrees in itself .

If you have access to one of these type inline ductwork fans this might be your answer to removng the hot air from the top of the tent, the negative pressure created from the fan exhausting would draw in cooler air from outside the tent as long as its not 100% air tight.

... I'm gonna have to go the inline duct fan, duct out the top of the tent. It's got a flap for that and I know where to buy the stuff. Can't seem to get a hold of the dealer though for some reason through the phone number to place my order. They don't have delivery options to wher I live online so... I'll get on it tomorrow morning. I'll post more pics of her tomorrow since I'm guessing she's gonna be dry again and is gonna be getting watered with nutrients I believe? It is the third watering but you be the judge by the pics tomorrow morning. :weed:

...and looking pretty bad I think, lots of discoloration on the flowers which started bushing out, old leaves look dry and brittle, she just looks really weak to me. I don't know, again I'm probably way off. I got a gallon of 3/4 tsp Sensi A and B , 6.8 ph balanced water getting to grow room temperature to water her tomorrow morning when she wakes up. Is this a good plan? And is it absolutely necessary to water her before lights off? The reason for the nutes is because it's the third watering. Here's some pics although sometimes I think the camera makes the plant look a bit better than it actually is. Again, please have patience with me since I am a rookie and a bit worried about her so....

Dont worry about being nervous, its natural, also dont worry about asking daily questions,it helps with the 1st grow & i have fun helping so its no bother.

Ok bear with me here but what i see in the pictures is a healthy looking bushy little plant, keep in mind that im allmost 60 years old & i might not be seeing everything in the pictures but the deteroriated leaves i see are part of the natural process, leaves die out after fullfilling their usefullness, the plant then replaces them with new sun leaves to take their place, when a small number of leaves start to turn yellow while the rest of the plant is doing well it just means that that particualr leaf has served its purpose, this yellowing of the leaves usually occurs in multiples of two at a time,is this whats happening, two leaves at a time ?

All dead foliage should be removed from the plant, this helps allow light to reach all areas as well as bug control, when a leaf gets really yellow pull straight down very gently, you'll feel very little restiance when it comes off the plant,if the leaf offers the slightest resistance then leave it on the plant for another day or two.

The thing that i cant get a grip on is your fertilizer,i wish to hell i was sure it contained the full list of micro nutrients like calcium, magnesium,,boron, zink ect,all are essential for a nice green plant,im going to try & dig up some better info on the micro nutes in your sensi ferts.

Give her her food with her ph'ed watering & test the runoff as we've talked about, barring any ph issues after 2 more waterings you'll be ready to increase her ferts to a higher amount.

Ok now for the million dollar question.

How large do you want this plant to be when its harvested, remember that plants will allways double in height after they go into their bud cycle, sometimes they will even tripple in height,we dont want it to get so big that your light cant penatrate the entire plant area, this will determine when you need to switch the light cycle to 12/12.

I will have the list of items you need to get started cloning & post it this evening along with a tutorial on cloning.

...here's what the bottles of Sensi Grow have listed as micronutrients I think.(see the pics). There's a couple of the minerals you mentioned except boron. Hope the pics aren't too blurry. I gave her a watering with the nute solution this morning and she's just started her 18 hour light period as I type.

She's measuring exactly 14 inches right now so I'd say I'd like her to be about 2 to 2 1/2 feet? Is that a good size you think? I'd like to get a fair amount of bud when I harvest so... I'll read the list of materials and cloning links you posted and let you know when I gather up everything. Thanks buddy and have a great day..:weed:

Sorry to say it boys and girls but i feel that to many people are makeing the growing of this plant to hard.I grow hydrophonic but i have more than one grow room and i do grow in soil too.I think too many people want to feel has though it is a realy big thing growing but it's not all i do is get a bag of peat best stuff in the shop same with compsost mix in a little pearlite i'm not gonna confuse you with all this measuring shit little less peat than compost little pearlit and mix get the stuff with no feed in.the plant that every one is makeing out to be hard to grow is a fucking weed for fuck sake.I have done it this way a load of times and never had any problems i feed my soil plants what my hydro plants get vita link a/b and a drop of super thrive for every ltr of water.I never get less than 5 ounce per plant. All i can say is keep the feed realy low when plants are young after a couple of week do what it says on the bottle another tip i was given while in amsterdam of the greenhouse guys is water every other day or when soil is dry on top this forces plants to send out roots in searce of water.KEEP IT SIMPLE KEEP AWAY FROM THE DICKS WITH ALL THIS USELESS INFO JHA RULE.

I feel the same way weather your outburst was directed twords me or not, believe it or not i also believe in keeping the grow as simple as possible with the least amount of additives possible.

Your right that growing weed is easy & i feel the exact same way but dig this, none of us felt the same confidence on our very first grow.

From reading the ingredients it looks like your pretty well covered.

To keep the plant at the height you wish you'll need to get the cloning supplies soon, after you cut a few clones then give the mother a few days to recover its time to put her into bud, then she's gonna take off like wildfire, everyday you come home & look at the plant you'll see new growth, its cool as hell the first time you watch them bud.

Hey Panhead,
Well, I've been reading over the links and finally I came to the conclusion that at least for this first grow I'll be passing on cloning. I just don't have the space or time to do it. Today I'm supposed to give her a watering with nutes since it's the third watering. I got it ready from last night ready to go at 3/4 tsp strength. The last time I watered was the day before yesterday so I know she's dry. The only problem as usual is the discoloration of the leaves. I'm seeing it on newer leaves on the flowers as well as on the old leaves. I really don't think it's good but again I'm a rookie. Have a look at the pics, there's a lot of em since i haven't posted for the last couple of days due to the holiday season rush.

Considering what you said about giving her more nutes when we decide to let her bud well, I'm ready to let her bud out. Also because you said they double in size and at the rate she's going she'll probably measure more than three feet at the rate she's going. Do you think I'll be able to get 5 oz.s off her being 3ft. something? So pending your instructions, I'll be giving her a nute feeding today before putting her to sleep just to be on the safe side(to make sure she's dry) Happy New Year to you and your family and everybody here at rollitup.org!!:bigjoint:

Hey Panhead,
Well, I gave her a watering with a phbalanced(6.8 approx.) 3/4 tsp Sensi Grow AandB Friday and she'll be getting a regular phbalanced watering before I put her to sleep tonight since she's dry and drooping. My concern is that the yellowing spots and leaves still persist and I'm worried that I'm doing something wrong. As I said before, the pics don't do the damage justice I think but I could be wrong of course...

...It's just those yellow spots all over the place that have got me worried. And not ALL over the place per se but just in enough areas that I know it's not isolated to the older leaves. The soil is right as far as ph goes and so is the water, with and without nutes. I don't know what I'm doing wrong unless I have to UP the nute dosage. It's a Ph deficiency right? Maybe I should add 50% tsp strength Sensi Grow AandB next nute watering?

...as far as temp. goes, I'm waiting on some mini fans, as well as about 2 fans to push and suck air out of the tent with hosing. Syringes for measuring, new soil, perlite, stuff like that. I didn't get any cloning stuff for the reason I mentioned earlier but I'm pretty sure that I'll have everything I could possibly need by Friday or Saturday(it's coming in the mail)

I wanted to do a final transplant when the new pro dirt and perlite get here. Would that be OK? I just want her final home to be perfect.

....like I said before, the camera I think makes the plant look better than it actually is. The yellowing is definitely not limited to older leaves as young ones from the top of her are actually yellowing and at a rapid pace. Since I tested the soil and the water is good I have no idea what to do to stop this promblem. Ph balanced water yesterday. Tomorrow I'll be giving her another since she's almost completely dry and the next watering after that would be with nutes correct? I also want to start making her bud out so how much sensi bloom or grow this time,(depending on when you tell me to start budding her out) 50%? Leaves were starting to curve downwards too at the bottom part of the plant, some not all.
