Plants seem to be drooping - first time grow

Hello I’m new here, I hope everyone is well,
My plants are 5weeks old from seed still in veg, I made my own nft tray and I’m growing in rw on a spreader mat, I put the plants in the tray at 3 weeks old so they had a nice root system ready so they have been in the tray for 2 weeks now.
I started flooding once a day for the first week and twice a day for the second to get them accustomed until they have a nice root system, the problem is that throughout they have drooping most days, some days they look nice and stand up tall, it seems to be random with mostly drooping, they seem to be growing fast but I can’t be sure as I’m new to this, I make sure the ph is stable every day,
To me they look over watered but like I said I only flood once or twice a day,
And I don’t think they are over watered because they have water, and there’s no signs of deficiency they look lush and green,
I will post 3 photos first will be a good day,
The second is a bad day and third is today where they are starting to droop again.
Thanks for reading sorry it’s so long but I wanted try and get as much info in as pos
I appreciate any help, thank you.

60L Rez with air stones, flora 3 part, 800 ppm , I change the Rez weekly,
4 parts grow, 2 parts micro and 1 part bloom till I reach 800 ppm,
Should I change the Rez twice a week to see how it goes? I changed it yesterday.

So your high ppm is going to locked then soon.
If i am i lower the ppm right now to 200

Also mention check out the solution , there are lots of different methods some growers pit pomp with filter other change the res and clear it.
Also recommend using hydroguard . Ph 5.5 is minumum never stand there

Sorry I don’t understand change the Rez and clear it? You mean change the Rez and flush then clear that water away then add new water?
Also isn’t 200 ppm a little low? Or is this temporary?
Ph is 5.5 never stand there?
I am just a little confused with what you are saying.
Thanks

He didnt understand you about the 5.5 ph he thinks you have it there all of the time when you just had it at 5.5 to condition your rockwool

for most inert media (coco/rockwool/growcubes) you have to soak it in 5.5 PH water for a while to set the media at the right PH for growth. Or that shit comes back to haunt you with bad nutrient uptake which looks like a deficiency (well it is because the plant can not access the mineral)

Oh I see, I set my res at 5.5 and when it rises to 6.4 I will lower the ph again usually once every 2 days

Yes I soaked the Rockwool first in 5.5 ph for 24 hours, did they need to soak longer?
Would syringing 5.5 water into the rw be a good idea?
I mean like squirting a few syringes full of 5.5 water on to each rw cube to flush them?

You set your ph at what?
What lights are you running? could be too close, too hot
I would say that your ppms are to hot. drop it down to 450. You dont need to change rez twice a week.
And if I made my rez to hot I would just get it mixing up and suck some out add clean ro water back in till I hit my ppm mark.

You said you had roots but they look overwatered, in rockwool you dont want it wet all of the time you want the rockwool to dry out a bit then water again like you would do for soil even though the rockwool is soiless. Root rot

set your ph at 5.8 let it rise to 6.2 then lower back down to 5.8 if that is what you do. Ph shouldn't fluctuate that much though there is an issue there somewhere imo. Wild ph swings will fuck with your plant.

You dont need to soak them that long but you can if you want I only go about an hour soak for 30 then put in another phed bucket of water for another thirty
No and no

I’m running LED cobs 12 35w running at 700ma right now, when the plants are bigger I will turn on the rest of the lights (24 altogether) and turn them up to 1.4a
They may be a little close at 10 inches above the plants but I was told that LEDs can be close as long as it doesn’t bleach the plants,
I will weaken my Rez to 450 ppm then
I thought with nft the water is running 24/7 so I can’t understand how the rw is allowed to dry out.

Maybe try and raise the light up about 6 inches and see how it goes. I actually dont know what lights you have but it still may be to much for the little guys.Probably fine with your lights. ppm is too much though.

Thats the bitch of using rockwool. I only use it to make cuts then when they get roots popping I go into hydroton and set the rockwool just above the water line, ebb and flow, roots get water the rockwool doesnt even though I will top feed my junk so that the rockwool doesnt dry out too much till I get really good root action going.

better be on the look out for root rot hydrogaurd would help prevent that.

what is your water temp????
