shit man, 7 of my healthiest plants, all put in a new spot this year, all have been growing extremly well, but to my dismay they got mowed over :(
they were in the corner of a hay field and i guess (didnt know) they have the field mowed down with a hug tractor every year. I got there though and there were 3 of the suckers ontop of the soil with a decent root ball, so i got those dug into another sight. the rest of them were chopped up in little pieces. it was litterally heart breaking seeing all of my girls cut up like that. honestly i was like depressed last night, lol. oh welll, life goes on, and if the other three pull through, some day i can smoke there bud and think, damn, this buds been run over by a tractor, lol.

Mmm, tractor bud.

Anyways, sucks to hear that, man. But at least some plants were salvaged. Most fucked crops are totally fucked.

Was this "hay field" public property or PRIVATE prorperty? Sorry to point this out.... but if it was private property then you got what you deserved.

I know it sucks to lose plants..... but you had no right to grow on someone else's private property.

Anyhow....call it a lesson learned and find a better spot next time :)

The difference is putting someone else at risk. Let's say Farmer John grows plants in his basement... nice and stealth.... then some punk kid plants weed on HIS property.... and the feds find it and get a warrant. Farmer John not only goes down for that kids weed... but they find his weed too..... all of which wouldn't have happened if the kid hadn't trespassed in the first place.

Besides that obvious point... it's NOT HIS LAND! He's lucky he didn't get an ass full of buckshot when he went there to tend them!

I don't expect any dumb ass kids here to understand what it means to own property and not have it trespassed on... but the adults here will get it.

Not really.

Florida Girl is trying to prove a somewhat logical point of argument with presumptuous and hypothetical theories.

Which doesn't make any sense.

If that's seriously your logic, then you fail.

LOL... that was just an example. The bottom line is .... you grow on your own property .... or out in public domain (like a forrest)... you do NOT grow on someone elses private property without their permission.

It's pretty straightforward and easy to understand...

People grow on other people's property all the time. Some people (such as myself) live in areas where the only wide open and discreet areas are large pieces of land that actually owned by someone.

Now, there aren't any hay fields in Seattle (and I will admit planting in a field that is mowed down every year is kinda dumb), and there aren't any large open public spaces.

Sometimes private property is the only way to go.

Morally, it's wrong, but realistically, sometimes it has to be done.

Do you own your own property? Do you think anyone should be able to come on your property and do as they like without your permission? If so... you should post the address of your property here so everyone knows where they are free to grow with your blessing.

If not.. then you need to shut the fuck up!

So it's ok to grow on state propery but not private property? That makes a lot of sense.

So be it.... and if your plants get mowed down.... or worse ... you get shot for trespassing then you only have yourself to blame.

If it's in public domain then no one can be held accountable unless they are caught red handed. If it's on private property then the property owner can be held accountable... regardless if it's theirs or not.

My points are in defense of the property owner. As a home & property owner myself... I damn well have the right to prevent people from trespassing to do whatever they think they are entitled to on my property.

Sorry if you all don't agree .... but it's not all that hard a concept to grasp. I expect all you who think this is perfectly ok probably think it's ok for teens to grow in their parents house against their wishes too
