plant is small and yellow, with red stem.

wow guys. i hate to say it but not im truly confused.

jerry had good advice, albeit a little rough.

everyone did, i thought.

i only mentioned cannabis college because they told me 18/6 is optimum for veg.

anyway.

tomorrow im buying some alaskan fish fertilizer, ph test, ph up, and ph down from GH.

good move?

ive NEVER tested PH. and the soil is nute-free im pretty much sure of it.

5) Not enough research. Do some thorough reading regarding the growing process...

nothing truer than these words...I've spent literally MONTHS reading and reading and reading...then a newbie comes in and has issues that easily could have been solved had that person READ more...researched more...and then read some more. frustrating:evil:

not everyone can spend that much time learning how to grow marijuana.

some of us have to spend time on school, bills, etc.

fag.

i read enough to know what was wrong. i just like opinions from people with actual first-hand knowledge.

thanks for the help.

+rep arcticvapors for being so unnecessary.

you call a newbie a newbie in a forum where he asks for help.

... or money :hump:

just try and remember the basics ... dirt, light, and water !

its funny how most of the time the advice given includes members peddling other peoples wares and ultimately leads to you somehow lining the pockets of the hydro store and/or seed bank :(

whatever lumpus...dont need your approval...good luck

thanks for letting me off the hook.

now there's approval injected into a marijuana plant problem thread.

thanks.

i use piss althe time when plants start yellowing from nit. def......tuna water no,,,salt will kill plants its like drinking a cup of sea water,ur liver a go.........just piss in the water u gonna water with and pour,i do

hay lump, i think its a good call to start fresh. what nutes are u gonna use. and what lighting?

well i have started fresh. popped a seedling out of the soil about 3 days ago. its growing nicely. great color etc...

i bought some alaskan fish fert today, along with ph up, down, and the test kit.

im currently using a 5800k "daylight" cfl, and 2 14w warm ones, i think something like 2700 butnot sure.

intake fan taken from a computer, along with another blowing on the plant.

i ph'd my water and it was 8.5+

so i think the 3 week old suffered from a nute lockout + maybe a general lack of nutes

im on a very tight budget but plan on getting a 6k something cfl as soon as i can find it at my local walgreens/cvs

bought soil from my local nursery, its
nuteless im pretty sure. (regular black dirt)

and bagseed from some dope ass dope.
lol

so ill take pics tomorrow if it helps, any help is great. ive started a journal of this one to help me zero in on what the plant needs.

thanks!

once its light situation has been stable for a while and you get the watering right they should be just fine. You want to water when the media you're growing in is dry. If you're in just regular potting soil it probably does not drain too well so water less often. The roots chase the water as it leave the media so keep that in mind. You will water about half as often once you put into flower.

now you sound like someone who wants to grow some decent bud,,,rob:weed:

yea i def. want to get this going, the shit is mad expensive, and i smoke alot.

lol.

u think the fish fert. is enough?

It will work for now.
If you think it is expensive now just wait till you get addicted to growing.

I know everyone hates MG but my first grow was done in MG organic mix. I didnt add any nutes till about 2 months later. Just an idea

which nutes will i need (if any) besides the fish emulsion?

lump, when i first started i used technoflora starter kit. the only thing is i think it lacks nitrogen so i added some advanced micro to it to supplement more niterogen. a cheap store one i used sucessfully is schultz it worked great and the plant loved. check out my grow link and see how my first bagseed grow went. i used the cheapest soil there is and it cost 2$ a bag. the results were pretty impressive.
