Plant is getting worse

A couple days a go these spots appeared and they are spreading. I couldn't find an answer in the stickies and this is my first plant. I assumed it had some kind of deficiency so I fed her some nutrients this morning... No idea if that's the right thing to do

Also... Bottom leaves are turning yellow. Until now she has been perfectly healthy- 4 week old clone

Is she getting closer to the light?
Looks like heat stress to me.
Thanks for your reply. That is something I considered after I posted this considering I am not able to use my 4" inline an because it is waaaaay too loud. So I moved the light all the way up, before that it was about 4 or 5 inches from the plants, and it got VERY hot in there. The light is up and I am opening the box every hour or so to let the air run. We'll see what happens :)

IDK man, it could be heat stress, but I'm not so sure. I think it would be more 'uniform', for lack of a better word. Hmm...I wish I were more familiar with fungus and disease problems, because they're possibilities. It could also be some kind of pest chewing the undersides of those leaves. Had to tell by the pics, but worth ruling out, if possible. :)

+1 for heat stress.

If the room is hotter than hell, it doesn't matter how far way you keep the lights away from the plants.

But then you say the lower leaves are turning yellow.

That could be a deficiency or lockout. Typically Magnesium.

If MG, the best solution would be to add a tsp gallon of Epsom Salts. You'll get a little sulphur, too.

But I recommend checking your ph first, because if it is out of whack, then the yellowing is most likely a K lockout.

SO. all that said, here's the order you take to troubleshooting this prob:

--Improve the temp/condition of the room

--test/adjust ph. Wait a day to see improvements

--then you raise MG level with epsom salts, cal-mag (advanced), or sweet (by botanicare) if necessary.

Or try my nutes:)

Just checked PH of my water... seems fine, but when I add my nutrients it lowers the PH to 4.0.... Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it

Adjust pH up by adding a chemical with high pH such as soda ash (sodium carbonate) or ph up.
You can find ph up and down at a hydro store for about $7 or a pet or pool supply store.

Your nutrients are pH ballanced.
That means when you add them to tap water that is average pH of 7.0 it brings it down to say 6.0 or so. Depends on the water but yea always ph your water after adding nutrients.

Not sure if I understand this... So, if my nutrients lower my PH by 1, or 2, or whatever. I should adjust the PH of the water UP that many points before adding nutrients to keep it at a neutral number? The water I buy has a PH of 6.5-7.0 usually, and it lowered to 4.0-5.0

Nah, that means that once you have everything mixed, you adjust the PH to around 6.5,(give or take, depending on preference) then pour it in.

Did you say you took out the fan? Need the fan.Put it back .
I have a fan in there. I just am not using my 4" inline fan for the exhaust, instead I keep the cap open. Heat issue is now solved until smell becomes a problem

Alright. I''ll go get some PH up & down at home depot, thanks for your help, and to everyone else
