It doesn't need a bigger pot period. your choice of soil most likely was the beginning of the plant's stress. I would bet that there are several factors playing a role in the stress of your plant. now you say you selected a different soil, what is it? your ph is most definatley off, the plant isn't able to uptake nutrients right now because of it. Adjusting your ph is fairly simple to do and reasonably cheap. Let me know what soil you are using and if you have any tools to check the ph of either your soil or the water you feed to it. Invest in some 'Superthrive'. This is a B-vitamin supplement that relieves stress in plants that have gone through some type of shock, such as transplanting. Respect.

Oh. I read online scotts premium top soil is a good choice. I don't have a soil ph tester, but I do have a water ph tester. Ill look up the superthrive rigt now

no doubt doggyd, he's got problems. But on the brighter side, every good grower i know had to go through a time when he F'd up plant after plant till he figured it out.

How big is your flower pot???????
From the picture it looks to be 6-7 inches or higher. And wider at the top but then it gets smaller at the bottom. Maybe a plastic drinking glass lol. If it is a plastic cup you need to get it to a bigger pot at least one square foot.

They look stressed!
if you mean my plants look stressed they arent. this pic was taken close to lights out and they are asleep. showing off my plants was not the reason to post the pic. i was showing a before and after of a very similar looking outdoor to indoor grown plant. thanx for the concern though:neutral:

they shouldn't droop like that even with the lights off. Drooping leaves are a sign of stress, not a sign of a "sleeping" plant.

that will help with the stretch but im pretty sure of my advice. check my sig. 1st pic is before and second is after its the one in the middle of coarse

Just curious, are you going to finish your grow with those pots? (talking about the plants on the outside) I ask Because mine are about the same size, but square.
@kbo thanks for the superthrive idea. (ordered)

12 hours of light is more than enough. Something else is wrong to keep it so small. Is it rootbound? Waterlogged soil? Poor drainage?

Need more info, but at 4 weeks it should be a bit bigger than that. The pale leaves and yellow stem scream deficiency but I can't say which.
