dislocated pinky playing rugby. It was stuck out at a horrible angle but, after getting set straight, was fine.

Didn't impair rolling so was all good haha.

I honestly didn't expect that answer.

I'm dealing with a boxer fracture and my knuckle is still a half inch back in my hand. I have to keep those 2 fingers connected on my right hand. I can roll with one hand but am not allowed to atm.

fuck, that sounds painful, i hope your staying medicated. hand injuries suck, and mine was really mild. Fractured my thumb and metacarpal couple years back, the pain was a lot worse than this.

When it happen it wasn't painful at all. I was too hopped up on adrenaline to feel anything. I looked down after I hit the hard head that caused it and my knuckle was gone. so we headed to the ER to get an xray and to get them to splint it or whatever needed to happen. While I was there the pain slowly started creeping up and they gave me an ibprofin 800mg and 2 lortab 5 which do nothing for me. I was good right up until 3 days later when I went to the orthopedic and he attempted to put my knuckle back in place without any sort of anesthesia and that really hurt. It hurt so bad I broke out in a sweat and got real dizzy and nearly threw up. All for him to just put a new splint on when I was told a cast by the ER and he didn't even put the knuckle back.

At least I got to pay 900 dollars to have that pain inflicted upon me with no reasonable outcome. :dunce:

Yeah, my metacarpal fracture didn't hurt at the time much either, just swelled up like a balloon. I had to have surgery and 3 metal wires put in my hand, looked a bit like this but not as long.

They were pulled out by the doc with pliers and no anesthetic.

Sorry for the thread jack giggles :-P
