Picking One Bud Early

i have a plant with about 20 small buds on it (it's not such an impressive plant, but i'm trying this for the first time).

anyway, it's been flowering for several weeks and i'm curious, if i were to pick one bud early, would that be bad for the rest of the plant?

I Don't Know But I'm Curious To Find Out Too Since I Hate Waiting When I First Got To Reading Shit And Found Out That It Takes A Week To Dry Out The Bud

It would slow growth for a few days but otherwise it won't hurt. The bud won't be very tasty or very strong.

Its not going to hurt your plant, and then in 1 to 2 days it will grow even faster for a short while. but it will lower your yeild

i was just jonesen earlier, but i got some from in the interim. i think i can hold out now.

Yeah every time I have picked something early I kind of regret it because the herb is sub-par.
