I am growing White Widow and some Afgan Kush right now. Both Fems. I am growing from soil but am going to start hydro and keep my mothers in soil. I saw this product at my local fish and pet store, its a Ph buffer that will stabilize PH and keep in in range of 5.8 to 6.8. A pretty good range foe Cannabis. The stuff is called Discus Buffer (because Discus fish I guess like a PH of 5.8-6.8 Here is the thing though. It says it is a phosphate buffer....I have no idea what that is...There is also something that keeps PH at 7 perfect for soil and it says it is NOT a phosphate buffer. The stuff looks like salt, but I guess is not. I have no idea what this shit is or if it will be okay to mix in water and then water my plants with......Can I get some opinions on this please.....and if you have extra time check out my grow in my sig and help me with some of those problems.... Thanks all my cola lovers.bongsmilie

a phosphate buffer will prevent the phosphate in your grow from turning to acidic, so I would say that unless you're actively trying to lower your pH, then a phosphate buffer could only be a benefit and wouldn't cause any damage
