Petunia

maybe a week or so ago I pruned a bunch of stuff from the bottom that I didn't think would help fatten up her top buds.. basically anything that didn't have pistils yet, I want all her energy focused to what is flowering now. She's gettin sparkly, I'm seeing lots of trichs. I'll get a few pictures tonight when I turn her lamp back on, I wish my magnifying glass would magnify more.. but my camera works well enough to view the trichs up close

got some new pix of my girl today, one is a comparison to my cell phone, and one pic is a closeup of one I took a few days ago to see the trichs.

I really don't want to buy a scope right now, as much as it would help determine harvesting.. so by going by the color of the hairs, I am to harvest when at least 80% of them are amber/brown/red, correct?
I can see the trichs okay with my camera, I think I will be able to notice if they are turning amber.

The other plant in the picture is just in for the winter as frost will kill it, so Petunia has a friend til I chop her down at least. I wonder if there is any way to coax her into fattening up her buds more.. she's a little over a month into flowering.

I plan to flush her soil 2 weeks before harvest, chopping her down before I turn the light on and all.. I'll be following the guide in the harvest special of high times (Nov 2007 issue). I'm open to suggestions though.

I feel I've learned a lot from growing, and in a way I am sad to know it will be ending soon but I can't wait to try out some of my homegrown sinsemilla. I wont be able to start growing again until after March, and I'm okay with that. I have trips planned and my husband has gigs to play. 2009 is looking pretty busy already.

The guy I usually get my buds from, same guy who sold me the dro I got Petunia's seed in.. he came over the other day and he hadn't seen Petunia since she started sprouting hairs.. I basically had to get him a bucket to drool into he kept goin on about how frosty she is, when he finally snapped out of it he's like "yo you're savin a nug for me right?" I was like "of course I am!"
The guy's on probation and he's come through for me with buds for over a year, so I was already planning on sharing Petunia with him. I just hope it blows him away :bigjoint:

Every time the AC kicks in, I get a nice whiff of Petunia. I don't think I mind having my apartment smell so fresh and earthy ;)

good morning!
first off, I got a new camera.. when I saw the original resolution I pooped my pants.. anywho you guys don't get to see that cuz images are resized to like 800x600 so I'll just show you what I have without cropping

thoughts/feedback appreciated <3
