1kooguy New Member May 19, 2009 #3 I think so,perlite give the roots more breathing room,also keeps it from compacting.You should also add garden lime to the mix.

I don't think it does. Im using kelloggs organic potting. Which has guano, worm castings, manure, and just a little perlite so i wanted to add more
