Funny how this was so dramatically expanded in just the last election cycle or two, to the point where tens of thousands were kicked off voting rolls... most of them with ethnically non white names, too.

'validation by postcard' has no legal precedent anywhere, yet that's the system that was quietly and hastily instituted.

Yeah it happened.
I've been out of the loop for the last 18 months, but before that there was an on again off again voter purge going on several months. A judge would stop it, then another would reinstate it. It was in the news here all the time. Not really on the qt.

Postcards have been used to contact voters for a long time. It's the cheapest way to send mail. {Postage is a large part of SOE budgets in small rural counties} What has changed is the number of tries before someone is removed from the rolls.

Perhaps or could it be spell check? I may lack proof reading skills but I do fact check and I do know my way around a polling station, yup could be age I suppose.
nice try.

spellcheck will not change a word, to make a word incorrect, grammatically.

that's rather snarky mr. 'we're polite, we're reasonable'..where's the butthurt cream?..@unclebuck?

. . . . . . . . .And I’m thinking you probably know more about butt cream than myself. . . . . . . . . .
I've been hearing a lot about butt cream on here lately. If anybody does know of a good butt cream, I'd like to know about it. Three or four weeks ago when I went hiking, it was 90F with 90% humidity, and by the 2nd day I was walking like a cowboy. Heat rash between my legs. It was pretty bad. {I just went to the next campsite the 2nd day. Less than 5 miles} I had powder, but it didn't real do anything. I washed ever time I came to a creek, and that gave me some relief.

I've tried a few different things since then, and something the wife had got from the "doctor" at the minute clinic has worked the best. Some sort of skin repair lotion. It's real greasy, so you don't sweat it off as fast. You don't actually feel it when you are walking, but if you touch it with your hands, it feels like straight up grease. And I haven't done a multiple day hike using it, so not sure of long term effectiveness.

That was against the law. The SOE down there should pay the price. All I'm saying is there is a system in place to insure things go right. When individuals don't do what they are supposed to do . . . . . .
Agreed. The epidemic problem in American governance- from dog catcher all the way up to POTUS- is an almost total lack of accountability.

Our system just doesn't work anymore. Until the accountability problem is fixed, starting with an enforceable prohibition against private money in politics, things will simply continue to spiral around the drain.

Surely you have more pressing things to counter point then my spelling? And I’m thinking you probably know more about butt cream than myself, TTY????
Don't bring me into this.

Both of my folks majored, mastered and taught English at the local university before moving on to other careers.

I learned long ago that unless someone asks, I'm going to score few points correcting their spelling or grammar. Besides, fuckin' Swype trips me up constantly and I don't catch all the mistakes it makes, it would at best be a case of the pot head calling the stone kettle black.

While my grasp of the language may not be on par with others, English was my low point in school, I do think pointing out “minor” grammatical errors shows more about the person pointing it out than the actual mistake. So there’re lol.

It was more a question of the preferred cream? I heard there was a bit of a barter thing happening at your place. Just thought you may have noticed a preference lol.

this has nothing to do with grammar..you missed the point.

Hmmmm FFF using polycarbonate would give me the heat/strength resistance but maybe not the detail or tolerance.
SLA material seems expensive. Have to do some more research. I want to get one by the end of the year, so I can put it against my business taxes. Section 179
You can go right down to 0.15mm (0.00591, but it's all metric) nozzles, and with dual extrusion you could use a 0.8mm (0.0314961) nozzle for supports/structure and the 0.15mm for fine details like threads, etc.

You'll probably need a high temp hot end though.

You brought up the cream lol. And you seem so far up his ass I just assumed, and from previous posts, it was alluded that there was a bit of bartering going on when you visited. I believe I commented on that previously, and I believe there was a like given by one of the barterers. I assume that means at least one of you was happy with the deal at hand. I’m not judging btw. You complain about being me being polite and now I’m being rude. I’m sensing a bipolar disorder, again not judging lol.

everything should be metric always, when talking details/exacts.
U.S. customary system needs to be replaced ASAP.
and yup only looking at high temp hot end. "Airwolf" is now on my radar.

Your right about metric but to change is difficult and very confusing when combining both as I know lol. My trade relies on temperature and pressure, most data comes from the US but new techs only know metric :(. I would think metric would be the units of choice for all 3D printing. Cool stuff ;).

change is not difficult when you implement it, which we should have done with the metric system back in the 70's.
If you want something built/created with exacts, better to use metric

I agree, perhaps if the US switched at the same time as Canada the transition would have been smoother. As our biggest trading partner we are still jumping back and forth. I still use both temp scales and weight in daily life lol.
