Payofix is a SCAM

Didn't know where to put this, as it is kinda a warning, but more of a rant.

I hate payofix, and how they take advantage of people like us with a smile on their face.

I tried to use a few prepaid cards after my personal credit card information got stolen, and used for almost $1200. They wouldn't process any of them.

I don't know if it's due to them knowing it's a prepaid, and that wouldn't work for their credit card info mining scam, or that Visa will no longer accept transactions processed by them. They told me they would only take Amex, or MasterCard now.. It's total bull.

Here is what they say when you call them on their crappy scam:Screenshot_20180619-102948.png

Yet it's all over google, as well as these forums. Keira is lying through her crooked little teeth...

I guess the moral of the story is to research which prepaid cards are legit before using them. Thanks for the heads up, and good luck...
Yeah research everything I suppose. Payofix is the processing company that some of the seed banks use, so there is no way around it. Use bitcoin, send cash... or find a prepaid that will work. I used green dot and netspend. They wouldn't take either of those, both are sold by Walgreens.

I hear you. I wish that more seed banks accepted paypal, like James Bean Company does. I think most take money orders. My last purchase was early this year from Southern Oregon Seeds, had to send a check. No problems, got my seeds in about 4 days. Good shit. The Feds make it difficult for these State side banks to make money, sucks for everyone...

Yeah I heard paypal has some strict rules pertaining to narcotics, which is due to the Feds. Right now I think the banks are lobbying against sessions for their right to accept cannabis proceeds.

Dr. Greenthumb used to take credit cards the the companies realized he was selling seeds. That was sooo easy and quick.

Sometimes it seems everybody's against us. Probably because they are.

Bastards.

I opened a second debit card account with my bank and keep a minimal amount on it for buying seeds.

Most banks, credit unions, and CC companies have decent fraud protection because of card processors like Payofix. Fraud isnt a new thing and the cannabis industry makes for an easy target for these fucks.

I've read the stories of people having fraudulent charge from using Payofix but I've yet to read a report where the customer wasn't covered and had to eat those charges. Payofix sucks and I'm in no way blaming the customer or making light of anyones issues but IF your bank or CC doesn't offer protection its probably best to ditch that card and find a new company anyway.

It seems the biggest pain in the ass is cancelling the card and waiting on a new one. For me, that would be a massive hassle with all the automatic payments I'd have to update....something I'd surely fuck up somewhere down the line.

Money orders are a hassle too but seem to be the best the way to go. Also, I just want to throw this out there. Its not just banks fucking with seed companies. Their competition and salty customers snitch on the few that do use PayPal, or skirt around the CC issues with other means.
Its probably best not to post on the forums which ones take "alternative payment forms".
Just sayin...

BTW, I put 100+mi on my bike today, I'm working on my 3rd rum n coke AND I'm really fucking baked right now so this whole post probably doesn't make one goddamn lick of sense. Sorry, lol

And that's what's going to change federal prohibition. Not the people's will, not the fact it was instituted on racist and biased ideas, MONEY. And not money in the peoples pocket, money in THIER pockets.

i won't use a credit card for seeds anymore after all the crap that has gone down with pay-o-fix and a popular seed bank here.

cash only for me. i don't order hundreds of dollars at a time, so if i lose a $100 that beats the hell out of the credit card ordeal...
