also i was thinking, is there a federal law against prostitution?
if so how can it be legal then in parts of Nevada?
if this is true then seems like the perfect precident to call for states rights on this whole cannibus issue an let them make thier own social rules
then if they let states make more of the desisions for themselves then people would go to the state with the laws of thier pleasing. creating a free market society in regards to where people wanna move. if the people dont like your laws, where it be tax, weed, prostitution, gambling whatever; that state would lose people and therefore change its policies to compete with the other states and become a more popular site for newcomers

ya id say its fairly ok, the whole problem with keeping this stuff under control is it costs more money to enforce the laws on a large scale than they have, thats one of the main reasons they are decriminalizing chronic in alot of states, and as for this kinda stuff, itd be just to much time and money i think, five O can just as easily catch as many people with it on them from just pulling people over and searching cars illegally

In order to get your whereabouts, even with your IP adress, they would need to get the ISP involved, who will (should, if they dont do this get a new isp IMO) tell them that they will not reveal your whereabouts or personal info without a court order. This is why it is hard for anti P2P downloading companies to target users, in some cases. In short, They actually need to go to court to get your info - not worth doing AT ALL.

Remember the police need several things to bust you. They are also rather stupid. Usually police will ask you prior a warrent for permission to search your house if you refuse disgard all marijuana in the house. When they come back they get nothing.
Don't post pictures of yourself. They won't know if thats really you growing first of all and not some random pictures off google to make you look cool. Also how can they be 100% sure that you live in a country were it's illegal to grow? For all they know you took an all paid cruise to ampsterdam or what ever.
How do you suspose the police will obtain your ip address? Okay lets say the police hacked this site to get the information. Even if they bust you, the info they used was illegaly obtained. Basically they have to throw the evidence out even tho they caught you and let you walk free. At that point you should have no plants in your house because they took them. lol

going through any proxy will show the IP of them instead of you, there is a lot of IP tunneling software out there to make you look like you have an IP from singapore... And if your really scared you should look into howto spoof your mac address (not apple - media access control), really easy in linux (software called macchanger) as this is the low level hardware address that attaches an IP to a computer, your IP from your ISP will change, MAC addresses are permanent.
you dont need mod privlidges to track user IPs from site, It would be super easy to track the IP a user logs in under (as long as you know about crosscripting).
if you have a small grow don't worry. they are after grows that can be titled as a "grow op" not a small personal stash. A small grower who doesn't make a lot of money (just saves money by not having to buy from drug dealers) also doesn't look good in court, it makes pot growers look like normal people (which they don't want the court making laws to accommodate small personal amounts).
On a different note: I am developing a piece of software (cross platform!) that keeps track of crops, nutrient profiles, and nutrient products (it is pretty smart on the cross product basic amount calculator aspect =) . It is all based around a calendar and can store information about your feeding schedule as well as photo and video.
Best of all , there is a custom file format that saves everything in an encrypted file that un-crackable (AES-twofish-serpent) and stores everything in a hidden partition so that even in the case of a court ordering you to give the password... yeah f*x you. encryption similar to trueCrypt if you are familiar with that tool.
If schedule goes to according to plan I will be looking for beta testers around here in a month or two..
