Paperwork?

Hey, all. I was just making up some worksheets to record growth, ppm, ph, etcetera for this next 'experiment' of mine. Does anyone have any templates of such already made up, or good ideas on what other info to put on the sheet? I'm trying to log four seeds (Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde), daily, from germ to harvest. I'd like to track all 4 in as much detail as possible.

Thanks for all the help so far, and here's wishing many fat stinky ladies to all o' ya!

I am using excel to chart my plants' progress at the moment. As my first attempt went so horribly wrong I thought it would provide a good learning tool but I couldn't find any kind of template either so had to just make it up myself. It's nice to hear of someone else doing this because I was starting to worry I was getting a bit obsessive. Due to my previous poor track record I have included a "cause of death" column (which sadly already has a few entries) but more optimistically I have also included ones for flowering and harvest dates. I like the names of your plants and I think I will be backing Pinky. Will you be posting any pics along the way?

VelVet CannabisGrowers Software - Redirect by ulimit.com

This software allows you to record all information about a culture of indoor cannabis (soil or hydro.) for a given strain. This information is then recorded in a .str file, which makes it possible for other farmers/growers to trade/share information concerning the culture of such or such strains, as well as salesmen of seeds, or farmers to experience new techniques, to exchange their information and their knowledges of one or several given cannabis strains.

Well, a certain knowledge of the cannabinic culture is necessary to use ' VelVet ', after having filled the various fields, click on the button : ' File save as ' (on the right) to update or create the file of this culture. The button below ' Open ' makes it possible to open a file of its culture or of a strain cultivated by someone else, in short it makes it possible to open the "strains" files (*.str) and to consult them.

Picasso - Thanks for pointing out the VelVet app, good stuff!

Celestial - I'm beginning to go that route myself, just adding in columns and will remove un-needed entries. "Cause of Death" is one I hope not to use, but is a good idea! On a side note, I'm rooting for either Pinky or Clyde myself. (These are the PacMan ghost names, Pinky and Clyde always seemed a little faster to me lol) Many pics to follow, in near future. Seeds germin' now... weeeee! :D

LoudBlunts - I'm making a few templates now, one each for MS Excel, MS Word, and OpenOffice. If you want the works-in-progress, let me know, I'll share.

Everyone else - If you have any good ideas for a grower's worksheet, put it here! Let's get one started! What easier way to compare grows than to have a semi-standard for tracking our ops? I'm down to make some docs!

Many fat, stinky ladies to all of you rollitup pimps!

Hey Gaijin

I was hoping not to have to use it either but sadly it is accumulating more entries. I think that you should definitely cheer on Clyde. If we got a backer for Inky and Blinky it would be game on! I would love to see your templates when finished, esp Word as I'm more used to that than excel.

Shamegame - I sure hope you will add me to the list, you know - of people waiting for a copy of your application...

Before starting nursing school last fall, I worked in software development - maybe I could be a tester for you? You know, find and fix any bugs in the software... Say is that a VB front end? Do you already have a database setup? Let me know...

I am by no means a programmer. I think this is going to have to start as a web app as opposed to a .exe . Right now I am just building the DB and filling tables... endless tables. :peace:
