Round 2

Round 1 sucked. Plan to improve all my mistakes and make this one worth it. Instead of using indica or sativa I decided to order a feminised pineapple express Auto by Barneys farm. And also a northern lights auto by royal queen seeds. I plan to order a blueberry auto next payday and auto ultimate. This run will be 4 autos with 2 air stones per bucket instead of one like my first run. I feel more bubbles will be better, less plants easier to take care of and less work. And I'm not topping my autos or defoliating all the fan leaves like an idiot in flower like last time, bad idea. I'm not defoliating at all this round. Wish me luck. Making sure no light leaks or no disturbances in my light cycle cuz I want bomb seedless bud. This round I'm not chopping early either. Made lots of bad choices my first grow but I'm definitely learning from my mistakes and trying something different now. I believe I can do much better and stop taking bad advice from online people telling me to do stupid shit. Lol I learned my lessons from the beginning. I had to battle root rot from seedlings. That was a bitch. Now I use hydroguard and keep water temps in check. Under 70 degrees. I'm using tap water instead of ro next round as my tap is only 150 ppm. Fuck waiting for my slow ass ro system to fill the tank every time. Tap water worked my very first grow years ago. So technically this is my third grow now. But I did better my first. So I'm trying to beat both them this round with 4 plants. 2 general hydroponics 4 site air pumps. General hydroponics nutrients. Flora trio, hydroguard, floralicious plus and liquid koolbloom in flower. Have a bluelab ppm and ph reader which tells me water temps. I adjust ph daily accordingly with ph up or down. Check ppm and water temps daily and log it to make sure everything is stable and not dropping ppm or rising. I keep humidity in check but need to pull some air from my upstairs of my house for next round I think. Just for some fresher air in the basement. Don't want to pull air from outside without a proper filter. And winters coming soon so I can't soon anyways where I live in Michigan. I plan to do my best this next grow. If I fail I will give up but I'm not giving up without a fight. Seeds and low yield last round. Trying to improve yield and prevent hermies this round. My 2 main objectives. My plants looked beautiful and healthy til I defoliated all the big fan leaves. Then nute burn. Learned allot of lessons and learned all about feeding and deep water culture. The girls will be in four, 5 gallon single buckets. Can't wait for seeds to start coming in so I can start germinating in my rapid rooter plugs. Can't wait to master this grow since I failed myself my first.

I feel it was kind of weak with only 1 per bucket and all 4 lines open on my air pump. Maybe just 1 stone and 2 lines closed more air pressure?

My pineapple express didn't work. Trying to get a replacement from company I ordered from. Northern lights is ripping. Started germinating on the 1st. Cracked in less than 24 hours and sent out a taproot the 2nd day. Sprouted above my rapid rooter plug a day after that. Transplanted the next day in my dwc single 5 gallon bucket and waiting for roots to hit the water. It's growing everyday under t5 4 bulb light. Need to order 2 more autoflower seeds still and ads them to the collection. Or 3 if I don't get a replacement sent for the pineapple express Auto

Ph 6.3. Ro water with 60 ppm of calimagic from general hydroponics. 8 ml of hydroguard in about 4 gals of water. Water temps fluctuate from 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Air temp 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Fan blowing on low on seedling to help strengthen stem. Dehumidifiers running and keeping it at 40 to 45 percent humidity. Got my grow room specs finally dialed in. Will be feeding with Flora trio, floralicious plus veg and bloom and liquid koolbloom in flower when the time comes. Feeding lighter with autoflowers than I was with my photoperiod plants.

what happened?
Fungus gnats. Tried killing em with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water online I read to do that , I mixed the peroxide too strong, it dried my northern lights plant up and killed it. Found a new easier way to grow in soil with biobizz light mix soil and ph perfect advanced nutrients sensi grow and bloom. Never have to check ph or adjust ph ever again. Less work hauling water buckets and waiting for the ro system to fill up buckets was a job itself. Soil is less work and more forgiving to noobs like myself. I'll give hydro another shot once I pick up my cob grow light and just try 1 or 2 plants under the cob light once I order it. I won't completely give up on hydro. I will master it eventually.

The pineapple express didn't pop, got a new replacement seed from the single seed centre. Going to order 5 more Dutch passion autoflower strains and start over in soil.

Nick- Your hydro setup is basically the same as what I've been running for 2 1/2 years- so are you still with it? I've run autos & photos with great success ( avg. 4 zips per plant) had a few setbacks, but nothing major. Had good luck with P/express & Pineapple Kush.Tough learning curve with alot of bad advice from armchair growers, but once sorted out, it rocks. As long as ph & ppm are controlled, its easy.Growing hawaiian skunk currently.I tried soil, but was not happy with results+ major PIA as far as watering, mess, bugs, Etc. With hydro, I just use ortho home defense around outside of tent & vents & chlorine wipedown inside after each grow- never had a bug issue- worse was powdery mildew on one grow due to no fan & hi-humidity along with dense plants& did same (too high concentrate = burning plants at end of flower) Always learning

I am still at it, and its going good this round. this is my 3rd run but my first completely solo run. I bought my old partners equipment from him and went my own way. Took a while to learn everything and i still learn stuff daily too. Taking bad advice from idiots is something i too have learned also to avoid, I sweat some assholes wanna see you fail. I have killed lots of plants in the learning process and wasted lots of cash in the process but i didnt give up and am dialing things in much better this grow
