painting inside of dresser question

im tired of taping down the mylar and other reflective stuff every time i need to work on the plant so im gonna paint the inside white. so heres the question-are paint fumes toxic to cannabis? and how long till i can return the plant to the dresser w/o any ill effects?

You can get low odour paints that dont have any harsh smells so if that was used you could put them back as soon as the paint is dry.

Just like Latex Enamel... They have at home depot and shit...

I just wouldnt use oil based... or anything with lead if they even make that anymore.

ive got 1-2-3 primer stain killer indoor or outdoor. Oh, by the way what exactly is a primer is it the very top coat of paint or the bottom or in between them or ?what?

A water based paint would be better to use than an oil base.

Primer is an undercoat or sealing type paint

was just wondering... why are you taping re-taping mylar and stuff down every time you do something with the plants? i'm not sure i understand that but if its just the door or somethin just paint the door and leave the rest. no sense in doing pointless work. especially if it involves moving your plants out of the environment they're used to

I painted a small cabinet I'm currently using for vegg'in two plants with the cheapest water based paint I could find from Home Depot and they are doing absolutely fine. I let the cabinet dry over night then brought it in-doors the next morning and placed my plants in it.

my mylar stuff has to be taken down cuz ita whats blocking sunlight from getting iin during dark time
