Being transgender or non-binary isn't about sexual preference, I know it's a little confusing.A family, within reason, can do what they like with their children (like it or hate it).
I am of the belief that a member of the Rollup forum will do well by their kids.
Personally speaking (due to a public history of Pedophilia, including institutional, in the country I live) I would like my kids to not be sexualised early (for any reason). I 'believe' they should have the chance to enjoy a childhood where 'sexual preference' is not yet covered. As was the case for me.
I know, I'm following a handed down dogma ..but it has always worked for my family.
I admit I do have a belief, that early sexualisation (for whatever) could effect the onset of puberty in children (and have other effects). Not sure on the peer reviewed science on this though. And society, does seem to have become more sexualised (meaning children need some 'awareness').
This is a personal thing though ..I would never demand others follow my families choices. Nor would a support people deposing my families views on this. I guess its somewhat life experiences too, can't forget that
