Hey mycomaster, thanks! I'm trying to step up my grow and photography at the same time and I'm very proud of the progress so far.

GS - It's easy to spot dirt, leaves, bugs, and other contaminants with white floors. I haven't heard anyone mention significant benefits from having white floors although I'm sure some light would be reflected back up to the plants. If it's a concrete floor (very porous), I would seal it to prevent contamination and make it easier for clean up. And if you do that, might as well paint it white.

Hey Prosperian and mycomaster thanks for the feedback on painting the floor white. I think I'm going to do it after I take the big girls down, It will be two much work try to move 30 plants around to paint.

Think you will be happy with the white floors. We had professionals come into one our storage warehouses and paint the floors. It made a huge difference in the brightness of the room. I would love to get a macro lens for my camera for close in flower shots. I have a couple but they more on the telephoto side. I shoot in RAW at 10 MB per pic. Gives me plenty of data to run through photoshop and crop.



23 Days flower. Plants started frosting up over the weekend. Approaching the 100 day mark this Wednesday. 39" from soil.

Bunch of you guys with some real knowledge, just wonder if you wear lab coats when cooking up these concoctions?:mrgreen:

No lab coat, I don't like long sleeves really. I do use a scuba respirator when blasting though so I don't fumigate myself. No fans going in the area where I'm working except a hepa filter scrubbing air from the ground to avoid airborne contaminants. I clean everything with 91% iso before, and after using said instrument. I then package everything in a 1gal ziploc to keep it from attracting dust ever. sometimes no matter how much you clean this stuff it can be sticky somewhere to some degree so I try to keep it from being around any at any point if possible. I'm really trying to make some meds here, and a dirty, dusty prep station or dirty equipment isn't tolerable in my book. Clean flowers, and clean equipment= clean beautiful amber meds in the end. If you look at any of my past oil pics you'll never see a hair or anything like that in it when you look through. Just sayin. Have a great day everyone. Peace and love.
