*this is completely fictional and a figment of my crazy imagination*

My story:

I have always been an up to date kinda guy researching and keeping up to date with all the newest gadgets and chemicals in the world of hydroponics. To be honest I have only witnessed a handful of friends grow in soil, which was pitiful to be honest which has steered me away from soil until now.

The few friends I have that have done soil grows before really had no idea about anything that went along with it. I was always misinformed until I had joined this forum a little while ago. I have been reading and reading and subcool has really enticed me to give it a go.

History:

I have four aeroponic grows under my belt as well as one ebb and flow I helped out with well pretty much set everything up and monitored the entire grow.

Set UP:

I am currently out of state right now, but I have all the supplies aside from a base soil to start mixing. The ingredients to be cooked are as follows:

(1) 50 lb bag of worm castings
(1) 5 lb box of bat guano
(1) 5 lb box of bone meal
(1) 5 lb box of blood meal
(1) 5 lb of rock phosphate
3/4 quarters cup of epson salt
3/4 cup sweet lime
1/2 cup of azomite

I am still hunting around to figure out what to use as a base soil for this mix. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know that subcool uses roots, but I am not sure if the garden stores around where I am have it. If anyone can suggest anything around the city of roses that would suffice it would be greatly appreciated.

Aside from the soil I have acquired two one thousand watt hps lights that have four inch spaces for ventilation. I am going to veg under a 400 watt hps in seven gallon pots and start training and typing after I have either fimmed or topped them a few times. I have done both but not sure which would be better for soil? It is winter though so I am not to worried about the temperature in the room. I have an abundance of ocsilating fans that will be utilized throughout the grow to keep air circulating.

I do have a space heater if needed and am working on picking up a cap timer that monitors the heat so if it drops below seventy the space heater will turn on until about eighty degrees.

The area I have to use is ten feet long and roughly five feet wide, with eight foot ceilings.

Yesterday I ordered some TGA subcool seeds from hempdepot.ca. I just oredered one ten pack of The Void seeds because they looked the most appealing and had a decent looking yield and harvest time.If anyone has any experience or suggestions with these seeds again let me know! I am having them express shipped to another friends address.

The state only allows six plants over a foot by a foot so I plan on creating some trees with a slower turn over rate. If these seeds turn out well I will keep two of them or so for mothers so I can acquire clones when I need them.

Any advice, reps, questions are welcomed
Cheers

So I finally received the seeds I ordered about two weeks ago. I really don't know what took so long especially since I ordered the express shipping which was three times as much. I am just happy to have received them though. I did however make a few modifications to my room, instead of five feet wide I made it roughly six and a half so that I could fit more down the road. As I have just picked up another card for my location. I also decided against the 400 watt and gave it to my friend. I ended up purchasing a 90 led. I am going to be picking up another one here shortly that I am going to use for mother plants. I also plan on picking up a 4 foot 4 bulb t5 so that I can have a few more plants starting. I now have two 1000 watt sun systems lights that I plan to use for the six plants since I will be vegging for a while. I will do three under each light. I am in the process of finding and air conditioner to keep the room cool and then a carbon filter as well as as an inline fan. Does anyone have suggestions for how big a filter and fan I should get for that size room? I figured a four fan filter combo would do the trick with some ona gel?

Progress has been slow though, I still am working out of state but should be home in a week to get things off the ground. I have had my brother take care of the other plants I have at home. They are about to have the lights flipped and I will get pictures of those shortly.
