Organic pesticide damage

I work in pest management industry …. I work many chemicals and many are systemic and are toxic. This product even affects bee population - some mixes carry pyrethrums in small doses. Note that this component of mix is an attractant - designed to pull insects to oils .
Kind of defeats the purpose of pest management. Use are for lawns , shrubs , “ ornamentals “
and various hard surfaces ….

as stated , it is not for “ food crops “ or consumption. There is a few guys here still running PGR’s like Forbid and Florel .

Simple ISO based sprays work , Spinosad based sprays are veg / garden compliant like Capt. Jack’s Bug Brew.

I made 1:1 ISO ( substitute iso for EVERCLEAR - grain alcohol ) which is food safe alcohol with water and a little Castile soap or drops of dawn. Intense alcohol will punch thru waxy insect exterior, soap helps it stick , alcohol evaporates of leaf quickly ( misting ).
Handles mites / eggs , etc.

Quick knockdown on active infestation. Food Grade DE ( diatomaceous earth ) as a preventative…. Or even a layer of horticultural sand aids in blocking adult egg laying in medium. Some make capsaicin ( chili ) based water sprays too.

Fine mist application… no need to saturate.
I tend do this with pulled plants , meaning out of tent ( if possible ) . That way after 15 minutes I can mist water wash the corpses off .
I do 3 treatment runs , In 15 minute intervals …. Spray , wait , spray , wait , spray wait …. Rinse.
Puts the whammy on them. But I would say experiment.
